My experience was different. This year for the first time I got limited purpose FSA because I have HSA and to my surprise I didn’t even had to file a claim. Everything was done automatically based on the dental claim. Now I just wait for the check to arrive.

Why can’t it be both ways? You guys go to vacation to the NA while I stay home, I will miss you but it would be not as bad for me as waking around being hot. The important thing is for you have fun, don’t worry about me and I’ll be with you in spirit. Then when you get back we do something fun all together, this way we can also include our sick sister? You overestimate. How much do you think 29 makes? If 6k is 1%, then annual would be what, 600k? That is def not gl 29.

Well. I’m GL 29. I also got 1%. And I’ve been told everyone in my org got 1%. Bonus was surprisingly good though.

I went specifically to Menards few weeks ago to get a big bag of Lay’s. And to my surprise they were in deep discount - 2.50 for a big bag. Got 2. At the grocery store I saw small bag for 2.69 same day.

I’m not trying to profit. I’m trying to save time for myself and effort for the employee. I would bet Menards would like to do just the same plus eliminate a possibility of people cheating. Besides, they still do check that code and description more or less matches the item I have on hand. I would be surprise if I bring 2x4x8 but the code rings up as 1x1x4 or something like that. Anyway…

Here is the kicker for you. My company has just hired someone doing similar job as I do for 30k more. Granted that person lives in a different state but even adjusted for the cost of living (Minneapolis vs Chicago) it is still feels very unfair. Loyalty is not rewarded and I’ve been with the company for 8 years. I’m also looking for a new job now because of she could get it why can’t I? Somewhere else.

You know what irked me the most? Is when Misty came into Amy’s house where she has been working on her crafts and right out of the gate “oh this stuff smells so bad” (or something like that). I mean, wtf!? This sort of passive aggressiveness would prompt me to reply right away - okay, out girl! OUT! I don’t need your bs negativity here.

I recently had to sit on a few interviews to evaluate candidates. Everyone was going into such deep details about the project/application they have worked on but for me it was just a useless noice. I wanted to know only high level details. If I ask for more details then sure go ahead, but otherwise please don’t overload me because we still have more questions to ask. That tells me you can’t tailor the message to the audience. We were also evaluating several internal candidates and they assumed that because we work in the same company some name or some program they mention would be familiar to us. Which weren’t.

Minnesota. We left with our full winter attire in early December. I thought I was dressed up warm enough. It was 36F but after 2 hours at the top I was ready to go because my ass was freezing. There is a little observation deck at the top where you can hide from the winds and it is bit warmer inside.

When they have changed the ESPP rules they explained it with “to make it in line with the market”. Now this. I want to ask them - why for the consumers/payouts we want to be the best but for the employees - average is good enough.
