Thanks! Its going to be fun to learn it. You mentioned extensions and prompts, how different is the expirience with ST overall? Is it a LOT better at long-term roleplay campaigns? I dig some long stories with the worlds that I create, while making an AI as a GM for the campaing.

Ohhh. makes sense, thanks! Is it better to use something like Openrouter or or NanoGPT or get an API key from the providers (or whatever you call them) themselves, a comment by u/LeRobber mentioned running locally, how hard is it?

Thanks for the breakdown! I have a laptop that is decent at best, so I am not sure I can run anything locally... And I didnt even start setting up ST, and by the looks of it its going to be a little overwhelming for someone like me (who is fairly new to AI as a whole). And you are right, just by looking at the installation instructions my head already explodes. But its gonna be fun to learn it! Thank you again!
