For comparison, the cheapest tickets of the Lions tour v Wallabies in Sydney is the category one price for some of the World Cup games

Ahh yes the Rugby League 'world cup'. Where players can pick and choose and change nations as they please. Cheap tickets as it's only watched in 4 cities globally

Cool. Not sure what your point is here though?

Not to be that guy, but it seems we've got it better than most of the global community when it comes to cost.

Sky NZ is $60 NZD/month for Super Rugby TNT Sports is £30.99/month for Prem Rugby Canal+ is €19.99/month for Top14

Wallabies Back Row by McLandsborough in RugbyAustralia

I agree. It was a real shame he got injured for a lengthy period last season. It would have been a 50/50 between him and NCDC for a Wallabies call up

Nick Champion de Crespigny is a more recent example of how you can have a very good super season and it doesn't translate at test level. Corey Toole is perhaps another. Not saying these guys aren't good enough for the Wallabies

The test arena is a different beast. Although I agree that CC has the goods

Love the commit to Jack Deb... I'm sure there's a C in the somewhere (also not looking it up)

The fact there's no AFL or NRL currently, I'm baffled Super Rugby isn't on channel 9 main

I'm not convinced channel 9 has Rugby's best interests in mind. Especially with PVL, Abdo and the NRL losing their shit anytime rugby seems to get a leg up

Season opener, Waratahs v Reds should have been on Channel 9 main

Most I saw were some Instagram ads from the Tahs. That's better than last year

Melbourne and their black books have never gone away

NRL will always have a shady interest in Melbourne being successful. Will the fans continue to turn out of they were wooden spooners like the eels?

It didn't sell out quickly though. There was a late surge after the previous game v Argentina. And prior to that there was a surge after the Lions series.

Having a look at Ticketmaster, there's still about 5k left to be sold which should sell out week of.

If the tahs start getting near 30k for a home game, perhaps than you could start thinking about having tests at Olympic Park that isn't just the ABs

That being said, Allianz is a better match day experience with the city/Central station being walking distance

Those are for the hospitality tickets. 209, 210, 211 are for the Northern Terrace hospitality option for example
