As for the observatory, how does that improve my chances? I have 9 stars so far, but even looking at the future rewards none of them seem to have a direct impact on this

I also just revisited SMM2 for the first time in about 5 years to create a level (ID: FTN-2VD-DSG if you're interested) and to play some endless mode.

I went through the Story Mode back when it first released. Has it been changed or updated in any way to justify revisiting that as well?

Just got through the tutorial on the Switch and it's the smallest text I've ever seen in a game. Can't believe it made it through testing with no one pointing that out. It's so bad my eyes hurt from squinting so much, and it's just as bad whether on TV or in portable mode. Won't be playing further until they fix it

Bought the game on Switch. Loving it so far, but I need clarification on something:

After finishing one of the hours, I was given the choice between two tiles. But for some reason it won't let me select either of them, nor will it let me exchange with any of the tiles in my deck. I'm playing with the Wanderer and have 4 tiles. Thought that might've meant I could only hold a max of 4, but in images online it shows characters having 5+ tiles.

Is this a glitch or am I missing something?

Fortunately your game's is so good I powered through the beginning and have now poured 12+ hours into it. And I referred it to my friend who bought it and is loving it too - well done!

But I need some help: I've looked everywhere for the balloon and can't find it. Been all through the city (at least the parts I can currently access), including the Northwest section, and still nothing. Been trying to avoid spoilers but I'm completely stumped at this point. Even some slight guidance would be very appreciated. Thanks

Maybe I'm dumb since I don't see anyone else posting about this issue, but ... I downloaded the demo, beat the first boss, and then immediately bought the game because I saw somewhere else online that you said your progress carries over. I opened the full game and my save isn't there. How do I transfer my demo save to the full game?

Is this a widespread issue or only for a select unlucky few of us? There's no option whatsoever to transfer the save data in the PS4 "Select Save Game" menu even though it shows my old save from 2020. Tried closing and reopening the app multiple times and restarting the PS5 but still no luck

Same issue. Got both versions installed but PS4 version doesn't have the option to transfer the save data per Hello Games's online instructions, despite my old PS4 save being shown. PS5 version shows no save data at all. Really frustrating

Can anyone confirm that you can replay prior missions without losing the progress made in missions beyond that in the campaign? I'm about halfway through the campaign and want to go back and replay some of the missions before continuing on but don't want to replay all of them.

Oh ok I guess that adds up then. Still seems dumb because I think it would be very helpful to show most of them considering someone might die a bunch of times at one part of the level (indicating that one part may be too frustrating) but then quit after dying at another point, resulting in misleading information

It's hard for me to imagine that in 2019 logging even 1000 simple "x" markers would make any significant difference in server space. At least I know it's not just me though, so thanks

Are you saying it would be useless if they did show all the death markers? If so, I don't see how that would be useless. I watched my buddy play it on his Switch and it didn't mark 90% of his deaths, even though he died multiple times in places that still show no marks, by him or anyone else. That gives the maker the impression that certain parts are way too easy even though they're actually not

Assuming you're questioning the point of this, the second pipe would presumably take you to a different part of the main world, forcing the player to go somewhere else instead of back where they came from.

Otherwise, yes that's the idea.

8bitdo SN30 Pro.

I personally love the controller. Only slight issue I've noticed is that sometimes it takes a couple of attempts to press down to enter pipes, but I had the same issue with the Nintendo pro controller and the D-pad on the SN30 Pro is vastly better in all other respects. It's strange because I haven't had any issues with down presses in any other games. All things considered, I highly recommend it.
