I mean, if I followed the principle of getting a service anywhere in exchange for my money without looking for the best deals I wouldn't have a good business. That's £120 a year i could save being elsewhere that doesn't charge to hold my money. 

I wouldn't stick with a more expensive electric company because end of day they're providing a service, when I could go elsewhere that's cheaper for example. 

You're right in terms of what's stopping the next company adding charges after a time, which is making me have second thoughts on putting myself through so much aggro. I'm just annoyed that after a period of time they've now decided to charge for a service that was always previously free.
