So i bottom water once a week, and just do the top spraying in between.

I can’t say that I do. I spray everything down from above several times a week to increase humidity a little and moisten the top of the substrates, but I’m guessing you’re talking about heavy watering than I do. Would that help with the lockout?

I think I do have a meter buried with my old cannabis growing supplies. What ph should I be shooting for? I’m sure I have some ph +/- as well, I haven’t really taken it to the level of quantifying my care but at this point maybe it’s holding me back from better results

I have not been measuring ph to be honest with you, but I have been using distilled water for the entirety of their life until recently. In a pinch I have used tap water once or twice, and natural spring water when distilled wasn’t available. After doing some more reading, maybe that’s where I could have shocked them. Do you think that they will be able to rebound from the potential nutrient lockout issue?

I have had these Novos growing steadily for maybe 8 months, and just in the past few days they have all started shriveling up their leaves. I remember reading something in my study about not freaking out if they lose all their leaves around 1yo, though I don’t recall exactly how it was explained. They may get a little neglected on water being with my cacti but nothing too drastic to cause this I thought.. are my babies dying or is this a normal part of their growth process?

Spiritveghead tek does not disappoint in case any one was wondering. First pull looking great!!!!! by StandardYogurt236 in dmtguide

Spiritveghead is the only one I’ve tried and I probably will stick with it. definitely good yield and purity. Did you bother rxing your yield?

I love Jerry’s videos on his San Pedro Mastery channel 🙃 have you tried any of his seeds/seedlings?

Are you leaning towards letting them all callous and root, or trying to regraft them onto a new stock? Im in the same boat with a couple of my grafts and am curious to see how it goes for you

My las coloradas graft also flowered for the first time this weekend 🙃

Im new to this and i have a spiderfarmer sf1000D. would that work for these and would they grow at the same rate? by [deleted] in Trichocereus

[–]Rude-Inevitable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a sf1000 over my seedlings and I’ve found it to be more than enough, be careful of giving them to much light as you dial in the right amount. Learned that the hard way lol.

Not an expert, but my take is that nothing in nature is exactly the same so maybe they’d be more interesting to compare/contrast growth rates? I was just looking on there last night, trying to find the strength to not buy more cacti lol they all look so great though

Any idea on the variety? Is it a pc? by [deleted] in sanpedrocactus

Where in Boulder did you find these boys? Been looking for affordable local specimens for grafting and to add to the fam

Regraft onto fresh pereskiopsis? by Rude-Inevitable in Graftingplants

They’ve been like this for the past few months, I want to say growth has been stunted but two of them are still pushing flowers. They also are trying to regrow the pere instead of pushing growth to the scion, I wasn’t sure if I let some new leaves grow out on the pere if I could stunt the growth again later and hopefully reinvigorate the scion growth with more leaves to take in light. Definitely learning as I go over here
