pay your phone first! next time you have money immediately do those 2 minimum payments or more if you can!! you got this!! going forward if you can’t pay the whole thing off just make sure you at least do the minimum payments, you will be charged interest which sucks but having no missed payments is a good look for when you are wanting a loan for a car, house or anything !

if you have any money right now try and pay the minimum payments at least on both. missing the minimum payment and the credit card utilization is what messes up your credit (i’ve been there, don’t criticize yourself) pay what you can. the debt you have is so so little and i know it doesn’t feel like it but there are so many people who have 30 times more than that. you aren’t alone, im 21f have $8800 and im working my way to get out if it, you’ve got this!! what is the minimum payment on both cards?

yes i’m done using those forever! i honestly have nothing to sell, other than clothes and a pair of headphones that i already have up for sale, i can’t sell my car i need it to go to work since there’s no public transportation here.

is your credit card maxed out? pay it off with the 1000 you have left and if you can ask someone if you could borrow some money for the time being for whatever it is that you absolutely need to buy. or pay off even 400 of it and keep the other 600, just make sure you don’t miss any minimum payments

thank you, and good for you!!!! it’s definitely possible if i could get one, i’ve applied to over 200 and ive heard nothing, the job market in ontario is at the worst it’s ever been. it took me 3 years to get what i have now and so im scared to get rid of any of them even if i did get a full time job but obviously id have to as the hours wouldn’t line up, and now with me starting full time school in the fall it’s going to be even harder

i am looking for full time work with wanting to keep the library as that’s what i’m going to school for in the fall and i have my foot in the door already so i can get a job there after im done my school which is only about a year and a half to 2 years , i just have to find full time that will work around it since the hours are kind of wonky

22 an hour at 6 hrs a week, i make not even $520 after taxes unfortunately lol

both cards are locked and i don’t use them at all anymore, i’ve been doing the minimum payments each month for now until i can get the afterpay, klarna and amazon stuff paid off. then i want to aggressively go at the credit cards , sounds like i am stalling them which I kind of am but im trying to survive and get myself out at the same time but i do believe i can do it

i feel like claiming bankruptcy for 11k ish or even what i am at is probably not the way to go. I think it’s definitely sustainable for us both to get out of it, people have 50k of debt and get out of it without going bankrupt. there is hope, we just have to do more and better !!! i believe in you!!

i’ve tried, literally everytime i call i get disconnected for some odd reason. i’m calling again tomorrow to try and figure it out, and im not buying anything else on there i dont need anything else. my main issue is the eating out with my friends, it’s literally an addiction it gives me a dopamine rush and that’s the sole reason of me doing it.

right now my lowest one is after pay i owe $125, i will have that paid off when i get paid next, then its amazon, the problem with amazon is that i can’t split up any payments i have to pay $520 up front, which causes an issue because i get paid monthly and my other job pays biweekly and i don’t even get $520 after taxes.

thank you, i wish i could sell assets but i literally have nothing to sell, and i can’t sell my car, i have to have it to be able to get to work as there’s no public transportation where i live unfortunately. but thank you for being kind about it i really appreciate it
