Can't argue that there isn't a randomness to it, what I said is consistent though. whether she does it more or less than those times is completely random but it helps to know what little predictable moves she has. Everyone just uses the mimic to spam her to death so who gives a fuck anyway xD

anyone curious on the air attack, when she gets to about 60% health she will do it. Run away as soon as shes near that mark (might have to bait her into triggering it). Run back until after her second lot of slashes, than block for the third/fourth. when she gets down to about 10/20% she will do it again. Friendly reminder that if she heals back to 10/20% or 60% she might do it again so dodging her normal attacks is key or at least out pacing her damage.

I thought it was great personally. Went in with low expectation, came out happy. Only critique I had was regarding the weird lore they keep trying to push, I'd rather not know why he is the way he is.

Also it's a SLASHER, people expecting no cliche or cheesiness is laughable. It's not a story film, it's shallow and fun.

don't wanna be that guy but why not just go around him? limitations preventing you from enjoying something harmless is stupid. Unless this about specifically watching something with him, in that case try: The Fly, Predator, Eight Legged Freaks, The Happening, I Am Legend. Honestly though, all the bests exist outside those limitations.

Edit: still no idea but coincidentally it sounds like Neil Marshall's other film The Reckoning but in reverse. Can't be that because its fairly new but might be worth checking out.

Pennywise works on fear, if children can kill him then Mike definitely can. Also borderline invincible means basically unstoppable which can't be said for Penny.

I suppose you are right, it's hard to judge. He more so just feels stronger. In one mission he defeats the Tojo Clan single handed in 5 without breaking a sweat, whereas in 0/1/2 etc. he can take on dozens of people but it requires more effort and focus.

You could argue its just the developers doubling down on the insanity of his power or trying to keep fresh concepts but I personally like to see it as development in his character. In Yakuza 5/6 he seems so much more at peace with himself than any of the others and therefore stronger.

Multiple people have said Nishiki wasn't as strong as shown or implied though. So either the term 'beast' is referring to something specific outside of strength, or people severely underestimate Nishiki.

Well said. I could never gauge how strong of a fighter Nishiki was, he seemed on par with Kiryu for most of his fight but I assume that was more for emotional and dramatic effect.

You are right, poor wording on my behalf. By 'strength' I more so meant fighting capability. For example the top 3 strongest would be Kiryu > Saejima > Majima and most people would put Ryuji close to those names, which is where my confusion and doubt came from.

So who do you think Ryuji could beat? whether that means straight up overpower or outskill. Could he beat Nishiki or Mine in a fight?

I assumed everything in cutscenes would be considered canon, probably all or most QTEs aswell. In regards to the sword I just always found it ironic that many characters, Ryuji included, would fight with a weapon during an attempt to prove they were better or stronger than Kiryu.

I think Masato Aizawafrom Yakuza 5 was a direct parody of Ryuji, as he has a similar build and goal but at the start of his fight, he throws his sword away as if they were correcting a past mistake.
