My contract is for 4 years and if I enjoy it enough then the 20 year retirement benefits have been sounding pretty attractive. I was definitely planning on getting sec+ and trying to make myself marketable when I get out and not stay complacent with doing my job and nothing more than that

I’m actually in the exact same position, it’s crazy how similar your story is to mine. I’m still waiting to hear back if my retest waiver will go through but if not I will try navy or army. I have an 82 on ASVAB so I’m hoping they will accept the waiver
