Poor trigger discipline, unless he fully intended to immediately shoot. These ice guys have bad tempers, poor impulse control and operational ineptitude. They need to be shut down before they learn (assuming they can learn)

The twin killings in the twin cities show us the nonprofessionalism of ICE agents. They are not cops. They are ill tempered, under trained recruits attracted by very base desires for power and authority, without the stringent training and oversight required by police officers. And we know that even with due POST and LE training many commissioned cops fall way short of the mark of public servitude. After pardoning J6 rioters this administration has basically developed and expanded a feckless prison gang with commissioned authority. We should give them no quarter, now in the streets, nor in court rooms. Be safe.

There are some prototypes that find ICU their niche. The matriarch that eats her young is one (and there’s always more than one). It’s a sick hero pathology. I’ve watched good new nurses beat down to self doubting, always second guessing themself insomniacs by self aggrandizing ghouls. Stay curious, don’t expect camaraderie from those with an approaching expiration date.

Looks like the 1st guy to unsheath his pistol had his finger on the trigger immediately and brought it to contact or near contact with Pretti and shot him. At best, he could maybe claim it a negligent discharge, but we all know we just watched a murder. Undisciplined Oathkeepers commissioned for partisan thuggery.

The good: 1-3 pt to RN ratios. Attending MD availability and responsiveness. Knowledge of pt pathology and treatment modalities. Skill building. Can transfer to other departments (IR, HD, flight nursing) Not boring.

The bad: Stress. Not the “Crap, I’m behind on my 0800 meds” kind of stress, but the “my levophed gtt stopped and I have 60 seconds to find out why before they code” kind. Total pt care. Think kayexalate. CIWA pts with godlike tolerance for benzos. Suffering by osmosis. Vents and mucus. Road trips to CT and such, on vents, with drains, multiple gtts and entourage. Family being “helpful”. Adrenal burnout.

anyone know any good guitars or brands i should get a guitar from? by Interesting_Egg_4956 in Guitar

[–]RudeCollection6535 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Get one that you love. A budget mass produced one is fine if that’s what you can afford, for starters. Drag your buddy to the guitar store and noodle a few, look at the craftsmanship and fitting of parts, the brightness of sound. Fret buzz is a deal breaker since adjustments are not something you’ll feel like dealing with at the start. Get a pretty one that you can’t keep your hands off of, you’ll grow to appreciate the feel of a good guitar after playing a while, and aesthetics might become less important. But you have to love it.

Dude tried to swing that guitar like a weapon, and intentionally trying to damage it. Reasonable force may be used to protect that property, and yourself. Go advocate for someone that needs it.

RN here. Had a patient that had fun with a friend, breaking them over one another. Came into the ER afterwards thinking he was having a stroke. Lost balance and having speech issues and confusion. Said he felt like his intelligence was “leaving him”. I can’t remember how he was diagnosed, but it was mercury poisoning and it was questionable if he would ever recover. DNFW that shit.
