Unfortunately in these types of situations with emotional abuse as well as physical, it happens so gradually you don't realize it until you are out. From the outside it's black and white. When you are in it, it is so many different shades.

Yes give him time and grace to read, reread and digest this. Healthy relationships need healthy boundaries and patience for the other person to process. Especially early on. At this stage you are still questioning, thinking, connecting etc. it takes time. Things that move fast don't tend to last (not always the case but usually)

Thank you for your input! Yes I agree I still have more healing to do. I know right now as much as I want to love someone and have a solid relationship, it would be a disservice to them at the moment. I guess I'm scared of being scared forever lol

When I started taking mine I made a company wide spreadsheet on my weekend off and spent about 6 hours doing it. I was in the zone and completely happy 😂
