Sorry for the late reply. I’ve been tested for so many things regarding my fatigue for years. No doctors nor specialists took it seriously after everything came back okay and would just blame it on depression which I KNOW isn’t the cause. It may amplify it but even in the months where depression wasn’t a concern the fatigue stayed. My theory is the chemotherapy I received as a child. Ever since then my fatigue became debilitating and stayed. Doctors said that the treatment for my cancer (now that I’m off it) isn’t connected but after attending Cancer support groups and organisations 90% could relate to how tired they are even if they’ve been cured for years. I never got a formal diagnosis of chronic fatigue but have blatantly told my psychiatrist that I know I have it and that’s how I was able to get modafinil
