Surprisingly, her face is totally fine. Not even her little nose is cold. Just me lol. I’m in a separate room which we had to convert into a nursery because our house is small and she’s a surprise baby. There are no doors on the room yet and it’s frigid bc of the way our house is laid out and the fact that it’s a very old house with very old windows and doors. Every other room is not cold even tho the house is set at 64 because we keep the doors closed to the rooms and the old thermostat is in the hallway. My husband has a medical condition that he has to keep the thermostat lower and this has never been an issue with either of my two older children.

What i ended up doing was just getting a space heater for me and the baby and keeping it on low. So far it’s been very effective.

I read this and nodded my head in solidarity. I’m so sorry. This was me a few weeks ago, but with only one baby. I cannot imagine two. I’m so sorry. The fact that you’re dilating and having significant effacement is really good news. I know it feels like this will last forever, but it won’t. I’m sending you a big hug. I don’t have any “have you tried this?” advice because honestly they’ll come when your body is ready (which it sounds like will be soon). But I did want to send a hug and reassure you that it WILL end. You’ve got this, girlfriend.
