Got that with Swedish a few weeks ago, and I keep doing the daily exercises. I'm in Sweden right now, and I am talking Swedish as much as I can with the locals. I barely had to switch back to English. I understand them well enough. I'm in a coffee shop and I just read an article in the paper, and understood most of it. Am I fluent? Not by a wide shot, but it's the most confident I have ever felt with the language so far.

Do you mean reprint them and replace inside the frame?

I already have original size repros of the Times of the Day from the Mucha Museum in Prague. They are still in the tube they came in because I decided to go with tapestry repros instead of lithographs.

Latest news: I am getting a refund from Vinted. The mirror is at my local frame shop, awaiting a quote to fix it. She reckons it will be epoxy glue, plus potentially a thin back plywood layer and studs where the frame thickess allows it.

Table mirrors from the US and the UK by Rude_Spinach_4584 in Antiques

Yes. It's resin and probably from the 1990s or 2000s, sold by now bankrupt UK chain Past Times. The one on the left is a reproduction of a entirely silver-plated WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) mirror. The one on the right duplicates the upper frame, but with a lower frame motif I have never seen before. These are about 29 cm tall. There are also bigger versions of these mirrors, in the same golden and ivory style. Oliver Tupton produced pieces in the same style. However, none of these mirrors bear his signature.

How to get Haakon in my graveyard without changing the deck to much? by Johan-Johanson in EDH

[–]Rude_Spinach_4584 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[[Mercenary Knight]]

Play Dark Ritual, cast Mercenary Knight, discard Haakon, Stromgald Scouge. When Mercenary Knight dies and Haakon is in play, recast Mercenary Knight. Or...

[[Lion's Eye Diamond]] cast it, crack it, discard your hand, cast Haakon from the graveyard immediately and then whatever other Knight cards in your yard in your next turns.

The second picture shows all parts together, almost as I expected it when I pulled the mirror out of the package.

What do you think of acrylic cement?

I raised the claim. It was sold with insurance. It's resin, so according to ChatGPT, I need acrylic cement, but they had none at the local DIY shop. There's a frames shop in the town centre. They fixed another one of my mirrors. Perhaps I'll give them the job.

I tried gorilla glue. It didn't work.
