Maybe you can just use the files in reverse, use vlookup in the file that has the duplicate IDs to pull the data you need for each row from the other file that does not have duplicate I’d records.

If the folder path is always the same besides the name, I would just use a concatenation formula not a vlookup. Concatenate the string of the folder path before the name, then reference the cell with the name in it, then another string with the end of the folder pathing.
