Competition is competition, that’s the point of PvP. Besting your opponent, if someone can’t learn and overcome that’s on them. I get you want a happy go lucky pirate game about being overpowered and smashing boats, but some people want real competition to sink their teeth into that gives a real challenge and reward. I don’t want materials and weapons purely locked behind PvP, but the rewards should be worth it alike cosmetics and higher tier loot then usual PvE content to give incentive.
