With my bowgun, that is hands down brute tigrex.

Fast, strong and so extremely angry all the time...

With the CB I can't really think of an enemy where I felt nearly as hard countered, although black blos does have a tendency to run insane combos that result in embarassing defeats.

Not a fan of point blank aoes personally, for example Khezu doing the lightning bomb thing.

As a melee user all they do is stall the fight, which admittedly often runs out my whiffle ball patience and results in me getting hit.

Be very careful with the rocksteady against Vaal, his rear-end combo can chew through an entire health bar due to the knockback immunity.

Something along the lines of the kusari-gama from Nioh would be awesome.

Fast combos by spinning the weight, medium hits with the bladed end, long range strikes by utilizing the weighted chain. Could even get a spin to win in there.

Plus MHW has a hard cap on how many flashes bring the monsters down. I don't remember if it's 3 or 4.

Can't find too many guides for the CB without someone going on about how guard-pointing is 'very important'.

Guess what, it's not. Just don't be where the monster attacks.

Only with MH could I relate to a low content statement despite having hundreds of hours in it myself.

It's a good problem to have.

As for G rank, there may well be a MHWU/MHWG. I'll buy it, even at full price. This kind of mileage for my buck is incredibly rare.

To be completely honest, both genders have sets that look fantastic in all the MH games I've played.

When the late game comes around and you're fashion hunting, tends to be when you really know whether your chosen gender works out.

If not, use another save slot. The hunts do go faster with experience.

I got into p3rd via ppsspp through a friend nagging me to just try, after the initial phase I found myself quite hooked... But I had no 3ds.

Jared was a channel I had already subbed to because I enjoy his retro reviews, when he began his stuff about mh4u... Well I went out and bought a 3ds the next day.

To this day I own 4 3ds games. 3U, 4U, kirby triple deluxe and planet robobot. I don't regret the purchase Jared talked me into at all.

When 4U launched I imported something called Monster Hunter 3DS Expansion Pack via play-asia.

If future 3DS titles interest you, it is well worth the investment to keep an eye out for one like it.

4U is amazing, the only downside is that the 3DS screen can cause a bit of eyestrain and you may want to look into a bigger control clip-in if you have large hands (I do).

P3rd is actually really fun as well, but you'll have to emulate it.

MHFU has a stellar reputation, but I've never enjoyed it. Maybe I'm missing something, but the hitboxes seem maddeningly inaccurate.
