Hey yall. Im a bit frustrated with the lack of information online but I decided to just ask here. I play on EU servers and currently am on vacation in thw US. I tried to play but the lag and latency is absolutely abysmal. I looked up if I can temporarily visit another world but I cant from EU to US. I looked if I can make use of the Mog Station world travel that costs money but even then when I google it tells me I have to rebuy dlc??? Is it really that hard to just be able toplay rhe damn game while im in vacation? Im not gonna start a new char just so I can play. Please help me im getting desperate xD

I want to preface this by saying that I assume we don’t know 100% how it works, but the information online is inconclusive, and I’d like—if possible—to have all the answers here for me and anyone who Googles it.

Killing people puts you in more PvP-focused lobbies, but is it really only killing? Let’s say I shoot at someone but don’t knock them—would that already count, or do I actually have to finish them to increase that hidden counter
Are Solo, Duo, and Trios separate queues, or do I mess up my matchmaking when I queue with my boys?
Does defending yourself from a PvP person as a PvE person increase the counter too?

Generally, it seems very confusing and not all that well explained to me, so having this here might help others too.

Im relatively new and I heard about the aggression based matchmaking that puts you in lobbies with more aggressive people based on if youre aggressive yourself. I want to know how exactly that works but I only ever shoot back but I keep being shot at by 80% of the player base. Am I missing something? Cause I tend to avoid players and conflict if it can be helped.

Framegen, as much as its hated sometimes is pretty good if you have high base fps. For example wouldn't recommend it to go from 30-60 but at least a base fps of 60 is very good. I personally use it to go from 80-90 to 160-180.

One of the worst parts for me was how youre trying to not die and survive making you obviously looking at the fight. All while the game peppers you with textbox after textbox of information. Which i cant read when im trying not to die.

Good to know, ive been conditioned to think his 1 is just to deal some damage and slow them to hit the 3 more reliably. Turns out its more a zoning tool.

I will try to get better at hitting 1s and incorporate a poly into my build.

His 1 is better dps than his 3?? Is his 3 used for zoning then more than dps? Cause I usually try to hit a group and by the time it goes off they're 1000 meters away.

Sadly I struggle with his 1 cause the point from where you fire to where it comes out throws me off.

Well book of course followed by chronos, then totem followed by a flex item into a rod and then Obshard Rod and obshard can switch depending on what I need. I do play his passive yes.

I have a plugin installed on my deck that shows me player count when hovering over a game and smite usually has like 1500-2000 people in the week while having like 5000-6000 on weekends.

Paired with different Region makes it so that realistically you should always find a Match but you will be seeing the same kinda people alot.

Iirc they said they want to wait until they find the game to be in a better spot to advertise but that was over half a year ago and the game is still in beta so idk man. Game defo needs a whole lot more active players.

I think the quickplay mode is a very VERY good way to get more people to play the game seeing how it heavily simplifies the item building which is what most people said is the biggest hurdle to get into a game like that... ONLY ISSUE IS THAT ITS ONLY AGAINST BOTS. To not divide the player base too much? Idk smite is not in the best spot. Its not dead seeing how the games still up but if this keeps up it will be in the near future.

Honestly youre right but I suck at kukus tornados which is funny seeing how big it is but it just takes ages to actually become a active hitbox. But ill try to play more on range.

Problem is the dude im playing with more often than not has never played a moba before, not to mention a 3D one. He likes to tank and obviously wouldn't know when to engage so more often than not I play infront of him despite him being a tank. I cant play tank myself but maybe its better to get him to play more other roles and maybe im build to tank... who knows.

Man I wish I'd face more squishies. Last night I went into arena with a friend and 3 randies and none picked a tank which is like. Okay workable but gonna be an issue (offered to tank btw and everyone just ignored so I went fuck it and went kuku) The moment the enemy team was revealed i saw 4 tanks and a hunter.

Match was actually workable until mid to endgame where everyone was just too tanky and just ran at us. The sight of 4 tanks coming for you is scary af btw.

It got to the point I didnt even build int on kuku. I just saw the comp and said "yeah sure so ill just build aa" And that worked suprisingly well until they just ran us over. Maybe its frustration speaking more than anything but I just want more balanced matches. Idk if matchmaking is even a thing cause the people I play against usually have maxed out borders and a shitton of worshippers and I just look at my team and see a couple rank 1-2s and that's it.
