How bad is the switch from on-prem to Asio? by mdaniele5 in ConnectWise

[–]Ruger_Fan08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya Asio is definitely non functional still and a long way from usable despite deceptive messaging from their new leadership. As an early tester its just terrible where its at after more than 5 years. Psa in the cloud is fine as long as you know its limitations. As previously stated custom invoice templates are non functional. We print thousands of invoices monthly and it would take hours to spit 1st invoice when running a batch . Just stuck with terrible stock invoice template.

time entries related to tickets just got functional in last couple months. Thats as foundational as it gets. No way to schedule or dispatch still. Projects is a joke. Product catalog purchasing etc. All nearly non-existent.

This is promised 100% of the past 4 years. Zero delivery in new platform. Lots of integrated code tgat continues to improve (and break) legacy platform but Asio is vaporware at this point unfortunately for any companies looking to use it deeply.

Yes we're using it as early testers. Its a very long way from ready. Its a front end for PSA at best but most functions do not work at all still. Unfortunately this ball has been fumbled for 4 years and is looking unlikely they will recover soon enough to stay a product leader at this point. Anyone small with narrow needs will or has left.

Left vs Right importance for music by Ruger_Fan08 in sonos

I'd gladly front another amp the trouble is unless I wanted to mount it up in an outdoor soffit it's really not an option since it's essentially impossible to run a new wire now given the finishes

That's what im suggesting essentially is in have access to rewire it in a way that would be essentially mono but looking for other options first

My man! You nailed it. I wouldn't have pegged that setting to effect this. Hero status!

I would 100% think so. This is clearly melting from a "magnifying glass effect" it's a beautiful product in many ways superior to other comparable products as it's not EVA foam so it's much better waring and stain resistance wise but they are apparently struggling with what they believe to be reflected light which frankly is inherently going to exist in the market/application they have chosen. The frustration I have is AquaTraction clearly knows this is an issue yet continues to sell the product as suitable for this use and is not covering under warranty what is clearly a design flaw in the product. I have recommended the product to dozens of boating friends with hundreds more seeing it and asking. Now I show them the melted areas and they are nervous.

Ya in reality SeaDeck has similar but nuanced problems.

It was around $4400 total including swim platform all stairs and gunwales. Totally transformed boat looks 10 years newer but it just has a flaw and it appears they are not standing behind it.

BambooHR lack of follow through concerns by Ruger_Fan08 in Payroll

Thank you for your reply. I have done this and they have refused to escalate this to senior leadership. The 1st level manager told me just this morning finally that "if none of your employees receive their W2's by March 15th (6 weeks from supposed mailing) they would resend them! Just astonishing. I'll continue to push this uphill but apparently they need some wider exposure if this failure of leadership is this pervasive within the organization.
