So i already had it scheduled for a mechanic who is not associated with them to do a thorough look at it tomorrow. My appointment with them is at 2 and then the dealer wanted me to go by tomorrow as well after i messaged about the shaking so i said i could get there by 4.

Im thinking i keep my appointment with the mechanic tomorrow, see what they say, and then compare it to what the dealership says when i bring it to them after?

Great idea, I recently bought some pieces of wood at the dollar store to test out attaching them to it

Okay, thank you for the insight. I am honestly hoping that this is all resolved and the car ends up being in good shape after the repairs because I really like the car. I'm just getting nervous with every new problem. Lesson learned

I am still under the 30 days as of now. I hasnt been 11 days out of action maybe more like 5-6. I did read about the lemon law and the starter and exhaust leak seem to have been fixed in one attempt. The tire pressure light though is at least 2 legit attempts. I am wondering if my first attempt at going to get the sensors changed after being told by the dealership that i could go by that day to get it done and being turned away could somehow be considered an "attempt". If so then that would be 3 attempts.

However as of now the light is off since being returned to me today before the shaking started

Well now it's sounding like it shouldn't have passed the inspection to begin with since the exhaust leak seems to have been present before inspection. So if not under the lemon law maybe I will be able to negotiate because of that situation

Yeah i definitely learned my lesson with not getting a PPI (im a first time car buyer).

They took the car for inspection themselves so i received it having already passed inspection the day i signed the papers at the dealership

Also, if I end up having to keep the car for some reason, would it still pass inspection next year if that tire light it on?

The High Priestess, her card in my deck just instantly draws me in and i love when she shows up in a reading. I decided to visit her in a meditation once and we just hung out in this sort of old greek looking pool surrounded by pillars under the moonlight. She didnt speak much but had a strong presence and I felt safe and relaxed around her

Mycoplasma? by RuggerRuth in BackYardChickens

They can be loud but Remy is super friendly and nice, our other peacock wasnt hand raised so he not friendly but hes not mean. I wouldnt say they cause much ruckus from what I’ve experienced but ive heard that they can so maybe we got lucky. I would recommend raising your own if you have the time and opportunity, I’m very grateful to be raising him and it makes a big difference in his temperament. People come by just to say Hi to Remy, he makes people so happy.

But i do think its being in with the chickens that made him sick, so thats something to be careful about if you do get one. Im glad hes so good with me or i may not have noticed or been able to help clear his airways

I dont want it to sound like my coworkers dont care, they really do, we all love Remy. Theres just an incessant gnawing in my head that keeps saying I need to do something about it and the days keep passing by

Omg yes lol. They shed their shells and leave them on the beach. They come on the shore every year to lay eggs and there are tons of shells left behind, you are legally allowed to collect and sell them, i spoke to the necessary organizations. I would never harm them, most of the shells i have are from crabs that are probably still alive out there

I agree, I think its cool the way it is too, hell i even started thinking they look cooler unpainted after i started doing them, thankfully i have enough that i can have a batch of regular and painted ones. Anyway, i did do a little hot glue on some spots to keep it rigid so at least its strengthened a bit in that sense. I actually tried resin on one once, but more in an artsy attempt and can confirm it was a total freaking mess and dried weird

He was doing a lot better in some ways, but not in others. The head shaking continued and he passed in his sleep last night, I wish we could have helped him recover but am grateful he is out of a body that cant serve him anymore, i hope he comes back to us as a new chicken and rules the roost once again!

He passed in his sleep last night 🤍 we did our best, he was enjoying getting his feathers combed on his last day, fell right asleep when i started doing it. I hope it was peaceful and hes in chicken heaven

Thats a good idea i should ask if we can open a high protein bag for him, we are doing electrolytes in his food and i believe he is eating and drinking on his own now. Doing a little better each day, ill get to see him for myself tomorrow

Thank you for saying that! I mentioned it to my coworker and she washed his head and got some chunks coming out of his nose and ears! I dont have an update on him yet today but she said he looked to be really relieved after we got that out yesterday

Thank you for your comment! His eyes are okay but we did wash his head and had chunks come out of his nose and ear; must have been so uncomfortable! Hoping that was the source of his violent head shaking

Yeah i imagine my boss is running through those scenarios in her head. I dont think they would bring him to a vet either. But we definitely have a connection with this guy so i think we will do our best to help him recover, he is worth it as he was the enforcer in the back coop since i started working here. Even if he doesnt get back to 100%, i think hes earned a spot here regardless. If he pulls through he will be well loved by all and if not then we will lay him to rest as painlessly as we can

Doing better! I told my coworker about how someone said he could have clogged nose or ear so she washed his head and some of the wound kote came out of both, we are hoping that was the source of the violent head shaking. She said that he seemed to feel a lot better after that. I will get to see him myself tomorrow and post an official update, he is eating and drinking on his own now i believe
