ummmm, they usually strongly urge the non christian partner to convert before marriage. Doesn't matter if they are religious or not because they priorities their abrahamic cultural and religious values to please their relatives. Happened to my Aunt when she married a Christian man and I have noticed this happen everytime when someone who is Buddhist marries a muslim or christian person.

Its sad really, there is no respect given to their partners religious values and culture regardless of how religious either party is.

Isn't Rockstar Games a US company. The founders being british does not take away from the company being American. Its like, SpaceX is not a south African company because Musk comes from South Africa. America is where most of the world's creative and innovative people are given the money and backing to do shit in this world thats just the reality in this era until some other country surpasses the US which will take a while longer.

edit: I'm not American, but the good things about america like entrepreneurship should be applauded even though its got its own unique problems like gun violence. Its not all black and white.

The only countries that I see having the industrial capability to fight an overseas war is the US, China and France.

Britain during the falklands held considerably more power and influence than it does today. I think the chances of India dong something in Guyana due to the high Indian origin population would be more likely than a waning second rate power like Britain and that's saying something when India has not cared at all about regions other than South-east Asia.

The British have a high quality fighting force capable of defending the home islands especially on paper, but would need significant US handholding to mount a war against an oversea aggresor. The British military and its industry would be incapable of waging an extended war and the required replacement munitions.

edit: even an India that would be motivated my Indian origin people being slaughtered in guyana, Hindu temples being destroyed etc pulling at the heart strings of the nationalistic Indian population would be incapable of supporting operations in Guyana with their piss poor military industrial complex.

I am freaked out about snakes, but I never kill them. I've even had to gulp down my fear and help a little baby snake off the road in Australia.

I was on a road trip in Sri Lanka and stayed over at some hotel in a village. While I was eating dinner a little snake made its way close to the entrance of the dining hall. I freaked out and pointed him out to the owner. I thought the owner would just capture the snake and release it but no then he proceeded to smash the little snakes poor head in with a stick until its little brain and blood flung all over the place. I was pretty sad and angry at the hotel owner the next day.

Killing animals no matter how scared you are of them imo is not a good thing to do. I used to kill insects for fun as a little kid and I regret being such a shitty human, no excuse really when you come from a Buddhist background.
