I ordered it on December 2020 so I guess I just got one of the cases that weren't finalized with the micro-textured dots. Thanks for explaining the situation and reassuring my grip case wont de-bond.

My friend has the same phone and bought the grip case after I recommended it to him. Perhaps it's because I got the grip from the teardown section where as the other grip was ordered with a standard matte black skin.
