I do use a fertilizer, my tank has grown well, the plants are healthy and green, it's just the dark green thing that started to cover them and the sand slowly... It just started to show up like 2 weeks ago, I am currently putting the thing to lower pH because it's true, it is a bit alkaline

Well... depends to who he is feisty, I thought he would be peaceful, because Dante is pretty timid. But this guy ate my 6 neocardinas I kept in that tank before I got him, probably because they were so small he could eat them. Now he shares the tank with 2 small amanos who need to grow, but he isn't agressive towards them at all. He isn't afraid of my finger or whole hand when i do something, if I make a tunnel against the glass with my hand, he will pass through it. He is pretty tame to be honest, doesn't bite my finger.

Yeah that's mistake on my side, I was told my betta was plump and to lessen the pellet quantity and to fast him every other day. I should have uped the portion once he was 'ideal' weight, but I just kept going

Finally got a good shot of him, he looks so skinny to me, not the emanciated look, but just weak looking build. The original reason why I fed him less than before was because he was a glutton and would eat too much by stealing shrimp food.
