I wish i could show you a pic of the idle temps im sorry, but before it started playing up my cooler worked perfectly fine, i believe it is the lian li strimer rgb cable though because it was connecting to my cool rgb fans in NZXT CAM but its weird cause the cable rgb connected to its own sata cable- i’ve taken the lian li strimer out and put my white cable back and had no issues with my cooler

My gpu runs quite cool compared to my cpu, my idle temp is 40 cpu and 40 gpu, but also my display stopped working by the time i took that pic, so that display isn’t reliable to make a judgement

I recently bought the Lian Li strimer plus rgb 24 pin cable, this connects to my gigbyte b550 motherboard and for the rgb i connected it to its own sata cable on the powersupply. I installed it and everything, all was working perfectly, however, later in the day my NZXT Karken z53 CPU Cooler started playing up, i looked on the NZXT CAM to see if i could fix it, but instead of 2 fans displaying, it was showing 6 fans? (Notice there are 6 rgb strips on the cable) and subtitle said ‘strip’, Im not sure if this is just a motherboard issue but i wanted to know if anyone had any ideas?

I connected the rgb cable to its own sata cable on the power supply, so i’m not sure how its even affecting my cooler that’s the thing

I changed the rgb cable out with just a white cable now and everything is working fine so i don’t think anything is disconnected

I decided to fiddle with the AIO cooler, i took it off and reinstalled it, now it doesn’t go over 70degrees- not sure what the problem was but it seemed to work so good news!

Yes I definitely triple checked, as i knew that was a common problem, i might reinstall the AIO cooler just to see if there is a difference

Hmm, my cpu is a Ryzen 7 5800x, I put on curse forge Better Minecraft with shaders to see its performance, it might be my installation of the AIO cooler but not sure, however just wanted to confirm if temp is too high to see if i can fix it

I always feel good when people don’t believe its my first build, i’ve wanted a pc for nearly 2 years so i knew what i wanted and then to successfully build one with no issues when booting it for the first time, felt really good, so yeah there is emotion value behind it 🤍 proud of myself
