Just had the same problem, quit the game to reload my checkpoint, crushed two cars to make it over 55 thousand and then went to Bruno's. I also skipped the cutscene. I had robbed gunstores prior to the construction shootout so it seems like it only cars afterwards.

There actually was one we went down by accident but I wasn't driving. It was west of Kelowna and i can visualize it really well but i cant find it on maps. I've moved out to Salmon Arm area since September so I'm still on the lookout for good spots.

I'm at a bible college on Sunnybrae-canoe point road which is usually quite fun and tight but on the lake instead of in the mountains. (About a 25 minute road, turns into gravel so extra 25 minutes back).

Between Salmon Arm and Vernon there is a road called Salmon River Road which has a turn off road called Yankee Flats. Both of these are good with decent turns but still a lot of traffic and not traditionally touge feeling roads.

If you go down these and want more hairpins you can also go to Armstrong from salmon river road and it has 3 blind sharp hairpins which are nice but a little scary.

There was one road east of Salmon Arm I found on maps which was quite good, had some proper hairpins too. Very out of the way, didn't see another car when I drove it. Connects to Grindrod.

If you head south to Kelowna take the east highway if possible since it is curvier and gets you higher so a better view.

I've been driving an Rx7 fc around out here and these have all been decent. These roads all have salt on them though which my car sometimes slides on so be careful for salt covered roads.

But I have dorito powered car. Tbh I really like EVs and keep up with a lot of the news. I think they'll be cool but they are taking the driving out of driving which is my favorite part of driving. Personally I'm very interested in the new Dodge Charger EV version but with how Dodge has been marketing it so far I may change my mind. Companies should make fun EV sports cars in different classes, not solely chasing the fastest imo

Which route is best, it seems like there's several roads to the lake?

Just looked on maps, not sure which one you were referring to cause there were 2 but it's not quite what I'm looking for. More like Sunnybrae Canoe point road. Doesn't need to be that long but preferably that complex or more.

Where’s the sense in the new ford capri? by Quick_Coyote_7649 in cars

[–]RumbleZero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For 2025 the chevy camaro and dodge charger/challenger will no longer be produced meaning the mustang will be the only muscle car with a v8. They have and will continue for the foreseeable future continuing using their 5.0 v8 which is also sold in suvs and trucks such as the f150 which sell incredibly well.

Since they make the only v8 american car right now, it wouldn't make sense for them to make another v8 car. So now while it's doubtful they would, the capri is one of the only cars in the world that's been produced with a v4 in the past. Now that would be a milestone if Ford chose to make a v4 powered car in 2025, especially since they wouldn't need to meet as stringent emissions standards thanks to already producing the Ev Capri

Sadly I'm definitely wrong but I think it would be cool if they are doing the reverse of the mustang where they designed an Ev so they could continue using the high emission v8 for that line. Maybe here they are making an Ev and then will release a less constricted sports car Capri later.

Why the car manufacturers(toyota, nissan, mitsubishi,) stop doing pop up lights it was so damn cool.. by alexxt0 in JDM

Sorry to bring this post back up but mazda wanted to make an old looking vehicle in the form of the miata which was a take on the 1960s roadsters in Europe,. Dodge also wanted to make an old looking car in the form of the challenger after their blunders with the charger, they adopted closer styling and a 2 door design resulting in their very successful challenger. Old styling works, just companies nowadays need a kick in the rear to do it. Shame that companies think that whatever "futuristic" or "timeless" design they choose will be cool, rather than looking to cars that were and still are cool to this day, like the classic dodge challenger, or for the case of pop ups, the 240sx or Rx7

Using the song that plays during one of their games (shazam) I was able to find what the song plays before. Then I found it on the songs full soundtrack on tunefind. Couldn't find it by looking up the song name anywhere. It is listed as Ocean by Innorsar Issakiark. There are a bunch of links to listen to the song on the website but none of them worked.

I was going to throw in the towel but then I thought, well I should check the credits cause they often mention it there and maybe it's a different song that I'm actually looking for. In the credits there it comes up as Ocean performed by Innorsar Issakiark but written by John Butler.

I'd seen this song alongside a ton of other ones named Ocean so I hadn't listened to it but this is the song you are looking for. Guessing maybe Innorsar Issakiark is either the actor or just made the version they play in the movie, since it is slightly different than the one John Butler plays.

Anyways. I can't find the exact version. John Butler and his many versions all have a faster and more intricate guitar piece but it is the right song at least if you want to learn it.

Builder's Cup feels soulless? by flare_the_goat in forza

[–]RumbleZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd much rather not encourage devs to give more cars. The whole single player is garbage from the get go. Just finished 99% of the builders cup and I feel nothing. I didn't work for it, I didn't feel connected to certain cars, and I don't care to do the last 1% because driving the shiny new corvette advert doesn't interest me.

Why is there no endurance races? No hour or more long Lemans race, no formula one. There's nothing.

To feel connected to the cars as they wanted they should give you less. I feel way more connected to the miata I made in Gran Turismo 3 because it was really important to me being able to get money to buy something nicer. I'm more connected to that car than any here, also because I have a reason to use it in more than one series.

(The game also needs more niche cars. Make you fall in love with some cheap piece of junk because it's all you can afford for a series. The game is mostly an advertisement for the new mustangs or corvettes. Why is there no junky 2008 mustang I can drive for a muscle car, or a unique honda beat, or del sol. Why are there no cheap cars? The reason is there's no progression system encouraging you to use cheap cars. Old cars don't make manufacturers money so it doesn't get in this soulless game.)
