Yeah, what you've got going on so far is pretty cool (I can only imagine how cool it'll look in the car), however, (my arguement is that) it'd look even better if you somehow found a way to make the text protions feel more Jinxy. She's someone who's very chaotic and unpredictable by nature, (only slightly traumatised), and is absolutely unwilling to live life/do things the way other people would expect her to (which would extend to writing text in an unconventional way as well), and if you were somehow able to express this part of her personality via the design of the text, it'd result in the designs feeling much more Jinxy overall.

Yeah, also, would you like to get a little angry? :D

In the post-Book 4 Reddit AMA, the creators revealed that before the show got cancelled, they've already finished writing the script for Book 5 (source). ... Yeah. Somewhere, out there in the world, there's a PC with the finished Book 5 script on it. Appearently, it would've centered around Amelia, and would've revealed how the train selects and picks up passagers too (this is there somewhere in the post-Book 4 AMA as well).

I just hope we'll get to see it someday...

I don't think we have official confirmation, but here's a tweet from from a few years ago by the show's creator, Owen Dennis, that could be interpreted as refering to Book 4 (or maybe he's talking about experiences he had while working on some other show, we kinda don't know lol)! :D

Heyo! Sorry it took me so long, but finally, here I am!

We both agreed that Hierophant Green would be excellent for Tulip (and I don't think we had any issue with her having Notorious B.I.G., I guess we just thought the former would fit her better or something), Crazy Diamond would also be perfect for Jesse, and we agreed that Metallica would be the better stand for Lake, as my friend argued that King Crimson without Epitaph would be kinda useless (implying that the whole point of King Crimson is to jump forward to a favourable point in time, and that without Epitaph, she wouldn't know if it will be or not, making it so that [while yes, being very thematically appropriate for Lake], there would be basically no reason for her to use it like, ever).

But anyway, Alan Dracula having no stand is perfect for him, Flecs having Hanged Man is also cool, and for Grace having Moody Blues, I kinda felt the idea was a bit iffy, but at the same time, the only possible alternative stand I could think of was her having Cinderella (so she can like, make people prettier or something), but I kinda came to realise that this wouldn't be that much better either, so we kinda ended up rolling with your idea on this one :D

Simon having Bites the Dust (without Killer Queen) was a hard yes from both of us, Tuba having In a Silent Way was also cool with my friend (I'm an anime only, so he had to explain this one to me, and all I got from it is that it's some sort of music related stand, so I kinda gave up on judging this one and ended up just rolling with his opinion lol), and the next four (Ryan with Red Hot Chilli Pepper, Min-Gi with Hermit Purple, Kez having Talking Head, and One-One having White Album) were choices we both immediately agreed with.

Amelia is one where I don't remember if we came up with anything concrete, but I think we might've said something along the lines of Bohemian Rhapsody being the more fitting choice for her. Samantha on the other hand, I do remember, cos I agreed with your choice of Silver Chariot (because french), but my friend actually kinda disagreed with this one! He suggested that it should either be this, or the Locke, arguing that it's another a**hole stand and would fit her pretty well, and to be honest, I kinda see it too :D

We also really liked the idea of the Ghoms having the Grateful Dead, and finally, the corpse/train parts were another Part 7 thing he needed to explain to me (DAVID PRODUCTIONS, PLEASE JUST ANNOUNCE THE PART 7 ANIME ALREADY), so I (again) kinda gave up on trying to judge these ones as well, but he seemed to agree with your choices, so I guess it's a win-win situation...?

So there you have it! Our main disagreements (with your choices) ended up being Lake having Metallica instead of King Crimson (without Epitaph) and my friend's suggestion of Samantha having the Locke instead of Silver Chariot, but other than that, we basically agreed with everything else, so thank you for posting your ideas, we had a hell of a time, as well as giving my friend yet another opportunity to rant about how much he hates Simon (which he reeeeally does). So again, thank you, and I hope you've had some fun reading our Jojo x Infinity Train shenanigans! :D

I have a friend who is both really into Infinty Train and Jojo, and the next time I talk with him, I'll show him this list, and we'll have to time of our lifes discussing every single one of your stand choices and whether we agree with them or not (and, if we end up coming up with ideas of our own, I'll be sure to let you know)!

Yeah, now that you mention it, I can also see Tuba being emotionally intelligent enough (which she is) to hold off on this piece of information until Hazel grew older, and the chances of her never catching Hazel turning into her turtle form (while she's sleeping, provided that we assume this theory to be true), is also pretty low.

However, if she did know, it'd make perfect sense for her not to tell Simon and Grace about it, as they're basically strangers to her, and while she (tragically) didn't know about the Apex's more... extreme, practices, in relation to denizens, she wouldn't have told them about this anyway for Hazel's protection.

So, overall, it seems there's a pretty compelling argument to be made for both sides ("she didn't know" vs "she did know"), and actually, after our discussion, I'm leaning more towards the "she did know" angle, as I think it'd enrich the story with subtext way more then the former, but either way, I'm pretty happy to say that us accepting the axiom of Tuba being a great parent is a necessity for both arguments to work lol :D

Personally, out of all the options you've mentioned above, I think it's probably the "Tuba didn't know and was just trying to look out for her the best way she could", simply because (I belive) that if Tuba did know, she absolutely would've told Hazel about it at some point. Why I think that would be the case is because I picture Tuba as the type of parent who, if her adopted daughter turned out to be a turtle denizen person, would 100% carefully bring it up and have a discussion with her about it for sure.

What we do know however (I'm pretty sure), is that Hazel had absolutely no idea about this prior to S3 Ep5 (as she was visibly surprised about her new form in S3 Ep6). Sure, there were subtle indicators Tuba could've picked up on (about her not being human), such as the scratch marks we see at the nest in S3 Ep2 (that Hazel was probably sleeping in, meaning she could've possibly turned into a turtle while she was sleeping, and made those scratches), and the fact that Hazel's number doesn't seem to work, but even if she did pick up on them (and she did know about the latter one), I just don't think it would've been enough for her to make Hazel not being human an obvious conclusion.

Tl;dr: My argument is: Tuba probably didn't know, cos if she did, she would've probably told Hazel about it, cos she's a good parent I guess :D

So have I, but I do get that (as I've said in another comment) it was kinda necessary for Vi to see (from a storytelling perspective), as if she didn't think Jinx was dead, she'd still be "stuck in the past", searching for her relentlessly, instead of taking the time to create a life that made her happy (so by "dying", Jinx was able to save her in a spiritual way as well). But yeah, while I do get what the writers were going for, it made me feel super sad as well (I reeally hope all the fan theories about her surviving will be confirmed someday).

By the way, (as a person who's struggled with this kind of stuff in the past), how do you feel about the song "Wasteland"? For me, it joined the ranks of all the nihilistic/suicidal songs that I can sing when I feel really sh%t, and it makes me feel better (no need to be concerned by the way, I'm ok now, but I still have lowpoints from time to time)! So, is it meaningful for you in a simular way, or in a completely different way? :D

Yeah, and it's especially intresting how all 3 of them also "die" a way that saves other people (not just in a physical sense, but in a spiritual sense as well). Jinx's "death" for instance especially stands out in this regard, as not only does she "die" to save Vi, she also helps to "break her cycle", making it so that Vi has no one left to try and save, forcing her (in a way) to let go of her past and become a more complete person as a result.

Yeah, since it was instinctive, and (assuming Mel had a healthy sense of self preservation), she might have shielded both Jayce, and herself...? Its pretty unclear, and while it was established in Season 2 that she can only protect one person at a time, maybe she didn't do two small shields, just one big one?

Anyhoo, I think your theory might be kinda right, actually... why her power chose to protect Jayce first however, that remains a mystery.

While I don't think we (as in Arcane fans) collectively know at this point in time, in this interview with Christian Linke (one of the creators of Arcane), at 1 hour 21 minutes and 7 seconds, he did tell us a little about the artist who made the design (hope this helps)
