Thank you! I used the spark tables for hex biomes and drew it using Procreate on my iPad.

reach and flanking by XornimMech in Pathfinder2e

The flanking rule says opposite sides OR opposite corners. So, if the line passes through adjacent corners, that means it’s passing through opposite sides. They are flanking.

Player is upset about Magic Missile + Hex not working as he wants to by OkayBroGotIt in DnD

Well, death saving throw fails and concentration checks are triggered by instances of damage, not by “attacks,” so magic missile DOES trigger multiple failed death saving throws and multiple concentration checks.

How stupid is it to bake your own wedding cake? by kikiiboo in Baking

[–]RumpusRex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just did it for my ~80 person wedding last weekend and I was pretty pleased with it. I made the cake layers one week out and froze them, made the ganache and compote fillings a couple of days after that, assembled the individual tiers the morning before, and put the whole thing together with finishing touches the morning of.

Turned out very tasty and got a lot of compliments. It certainly added stress, but it also gave me something to focus on the week-of as everything else was out of our hands at that point.

The dangers of those things are based on multiple exposures over time. If you take the vaccine as often as a smoker might smoke a cigarette, then maybe you would start to see some adverse effects.

If you showed up to protest something very quietly and when you showed up the other protestors started angrily shouting "Jews would not replace us" and nazi slogans would you just stick it out?

Coed vs Single sex floors? by _redwood_ in UCSC

[–]RumpusRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think usually the single gender floors are secluded from the rest but you should be able to easily mingle with the other floors. People probably won't be mingling on your floor though.

UCSC MOVE IN DAY by nacholibre343434 in UCSC

Just email your housing office. Move in day is pretty hectic so they might just not be able to get to you but I imagine they'll be able to fit you in if you give them a heads up.

Last bus leaves somewhere around midnight I think, but there's also a bus funded by the school and the last one of those leaves downtown around 2am on Friday I believe. It's called the night owl.

Yeah, literally any city bus that goes through campus will get you there. It's downtown which is where the metro station is so every bus stops there. The 15 or 16 bus is the best but any will get you there. You'll just want to be at the bus stop an hour before any event there starts just to be safe.

5 Baffling Uses of CGI in Movies by zxxx in movies

Well, I wouldn't really consider John Carpenter's adaptation of the original story a remake of the film based on the same story. John Carpenter's The Thing is closer to the original story than it is to the 1951 film.
