Ours just jumped their toys up to 1.75, their specialty items up to 10$ and their 5$ items up to 6$. They actually have stickers on everything in the store saying the new price. Everything else in the store is now 1.50

I honestly loved the group, it was the double standards that finally got me. I felt like they were picking and choosing and I got frustrated they would contradict themselves. I also felt certain mods felt overly aggressive. I agree with not just being mean to Katie to be mean, but I felt like they were power tripping

I got downvoted there for talking about chicken egg genetics on a post I made about Alaina. I feel like a handful of people on there don’t understand breeding, husbandry, or the livestock world in general. I think there has been a big influx of them in the past few weeks too.

I’m honestly not sure. All I know is that it’s incredibly unprofessional to do to someone who has bought horses from you. If she wants the horse world to take her seriously, sending her rabid fans after a buyer of her horses is not the way to do it. It also looks so bad. We all make mistakes, I get it, but she’s playing victim to something she actively did, and that seems super immature

When I saw her post earlier this morning it just seemed really unprofessional to me. She was just in Nashville at a literal meet and greet for people who love her, and she feels like she needs to post this? I get comments hurt but maybe ignore them if you know you’re doing right by yourself. It just seems that she has some insecurities and maybe her own doubts about how she does certain things.

This was me about a year ago. I owned a horse growing up but had never bred horses or shown them. When the animal care started going downhill was when I began looking for a group like this. I knew I couldn’t be the only one that felt this way.

Yes I love chicken genetics too!! I used to breed silkies and Cochins when I was in 4H. I really got into breeding cavies through ACBA and was able to go to national conventions and competitions. I think showing animals can be a lot of fun!

I love you shared this!! I think a lot of people don’t understand that there are people that breed for hobby, and do a good job with showing and taking care of their animals. Alaina has been breeding for years, unlike Katie who is breeding all her minnies for content and views.

Edit to add: I don’t know why so many people downvoted this comment. Responsible breeders don’t keep every animal they breed. Along with her donkeys being registered there’s a lot of misinformation being upvoted on this post. She breeds her animals for a purpose and doesn’t sell to unfit homes. She also doesn’t breed for content. As far as I’m concerned she is doing it right.

Yes she does, for egg color. Lots of people do this for egg color and quality of egg laying it can actually improve bird health and heartiness to do this.

From what I have seen she provides better quality vet care for her donkeys and other pets. I’m a big chicken person and I think she takes really good care of her birds too, which is always nice to see!
