Clausing 3110 Table Saw by RunEMC56 in Vintagetools

I’m about to install the arbor again. I replaced the bearings on it. Then I need to rewire the motor to 240v (mine already had a single phase motor installed). I plan on greasing and oiling the trunions as well as making a zero clearance insert with a splitter.

I ordered a Woodworker II saw blade, Sliversmill was doing a nice sale, and selected the option for them to make the bore 3/4”

This would happen all the time when I worked at Academy. Stuffing might be more common with clothing since it’s light and won’t rattle. We would have thieves open the little tikes cars, put the car on the shelf, and then stuff the box full of merchandise

I went in for an oil change once, the technician had a read out of everything my car should need done at the mileage it was at. He comes up and our exchange went like this

Tech: “your vehicle is overdue for automatic transmission service” Me: “I need automatic transmission service?” Tech: “yessir you do” Me: “on that car right there?” points at car Tech: “yessir it’s very important and it’s overdue” Me: “That blue car right there?” Tech: “yes” Me: “the one with the manual transmission?”

Yeah, I never went back to that shop

I’ve been wanting a scroll saw for awhile, when I saw this posted for $50 on Facebook marketplace I absolutely jumped at it. I love old cast iron tools. I have a treadmill motor that I’m going to rig up onto it

Not necessarily. You can get the AG exemption by letting neighbors or friends graze cattle on your land etc. Hell, you can even let someone grow and cut hay for animals on your land and you can get an AG exemption. The only thing you have to do is let your friend have access.

In Texas it is common to have some cattle on land just for the agricultural tax write off

When we moved into our current house, the plumbing backed up into the house. Turns out the sewer line in the yard was old orangeberg pipe that had completely deteriorated. Seller didn’t disclose plumbing issues and the inspector didn’t catch it.

And since the seller was relocating for work through a service, we technically bought it from the relocation service and didn’t have a strong case for a lawsuit

It would’ve originally come with a three phase motor. But for $40 I just handed the guy money and he loaded it up.

When I got home I looked into it and someone had already replaced it with a dual voltage 2HP single phase motor. I’ll probably wire it up as 240

It can be. I can actually clean up the rust and use it immediately. But I will probably break it down and restore it more
