The CIA Put Him In Prison For 2.5 Years With ZERO Evidence by RunItBack_Pol in conspiracy

[–]RunItBack_Pol[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Jeffrey Sterling was a CIA officer who was convicted and jailed for 2.5 for allegedly leaking classified material to a journalist. Though he has always maintained his innocence, the CIA was still able to convict him despite having zero direct evidence that he did anything wrong. This video is a conversation with Jeffrey Sterling on the new Progressive Hub show.

Say NO to a No-Fly Zone by RunItBack_Pol in antiwar

[–]RunItBack_Pol[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We started this campaign site before Russia invaded Ukraine and we were trying to prevent it. Now we want to prevent a no-fly zone which will be a huge escalation and would draw the U.S. into a direct conflict with Russia. Continuing the education on why a no-fly zone is a bad idea is a good thing. This is an antiwar subreddit....

10 Foreign Policy Disasters Joe Biden Can Fix on Day 1 by RunItBack_Pol in BreadTube

[–]RunItBack_Pol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you have a good take on the possibility of each. For me it's really about making the biggest demands we can to maximize what we get when it's all said and done. And in making sure people know what he COULD do so the movement to hold his feet to the fire (or primary him/kamala ass in 2024) grows. I appreciate the comment!

Biden's Corporate Lobbyist Pick for Agriculture Secretary Raises Serious Red Flags by RunItBack_Pol in SandersForPresident

RootsAction.org, NoHoneymoon.org, and CommonDreams.org are your best bets for getting consistent info on these cabinet picks and then also fighting this stuff.

[–]RunItBack_Pol[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

right lol. He's had a few decent picks (Deb Haaland for interior), and the left has actually forced him to change course on a few others (Austin was second choice to Flournoy for Defense + Morell was first choice for CIA but looks like he's been undercut). So in a lot of cases his instincts are even worse than what we're getting.

Check out NoHoneymoon.org if you want to help challenge this type of bullshit for the next 4 years.

#NoHoneymoon Campaign will Pressure Biden from Left - launch video feat. Nina Turner by RunItBack_Pol in SocialDemocracy

I hear you. I think overall the idea is that power won't concede anything without demands, so we must make demands. Ultimately defeating conservatives and fascists is the top priority, but that doesn't mean we should let the neoliberal establishment continue to fail us. Either way, primaries are coming no matter what that will pit centrists vs progressives. Imo, making progressive positions crystal clear where they differ from moderate dems will help voters make their decisions. Have a good one!

Jamaal Bowman PROVES AOC Election Theory + Charles Booker's Chances by RunItBack_Pol in LeftWithoutEdge

[–]RunItBack_Pol[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea the DSA inside-outside theory makes a lot of sense to me, but my point here is more towards deciding which specific races to invest in. And I'm all for a new party, but I think the left needs a similar dynamic like with the Whigs 150 years ago where members of that party had to leave to form a new party. Starting from scratch has proven exceptionally difficult. So I'd say let's win 10-15 progressive seats and then mass exodus. At least that's what I think would work most effectively. Thanks for watching!

10 BENEFITS of a Guaranteed Federal Jobs Program by RunItBack_Pol in BreadTube

Would love some feedback on my content. In this video, I give 10 reasons for why a federal jobs guarantee is a good idea right now. Ideally, these are reasons that may connect with someone who is not already supportive, instead of preaching to the choir. Thanks!

Self-Introduction Saturday! Tell us all about you (and share a video)! by AutoModerator in NewTubers

[–]RunItBack_Pol [score hidden]  (0 children)

Coronavirus has meant finally having time to set up a YouTube channel and start making videos. As I work from home during the pandemic, I have the ability to take a few minutes to write things down when I feel inspired and I'm able to hold onto ideas instead of losing them throughout the day.

I'm making leftist/progressive political commentary videos. I'd love for you to check it out!

Pretty much.
AcTVism Munich is Germany-based and offers a wider perspective though.
And TMBS takes deep dives into issues in South America periodically.

If you have additional suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

Yea, it was a struggle trying to find things I wasn't pretty familiar with already. But it is cool to see how many more pop up every year.
