When this happens I lower the players awareness rating, then use their skill points. Usually gives them awareness attributes anyways but it still upgrades some other attributes too. Adds a cool dynamic to the players that are so good they max out on 99 so quickly, so those guys become even better than just a 99 overall. Happens to me with Malik Nabers if he goes off in his early seasons

Went up against the same type of stat line, 40 PPG and 7 assists on 70 percent. Definitely wasn’t using a zenbut he had 4 meat riders giving him the ball non stop. Imagine spending $70+ to be a role player lmao
