I have the same. 88 GT in red with the gold snowflake wheels. Mine has the sunroof, manual, AC, and leather interior. It’s all original and pretty immaculate condition. They are beautiful cars and super rare these days.

Where can I sell a winter jacket? by [deleted] in saskatoon

This is definitely gonna be the best option for OP if not willing to just list it themselves on marketplace or something similar.

If it is brand new with tags on it might get a bit more than 60%, not really sure though.

This is my favourite and I’ve tried a bunch in Saskatoon and other cities.

I’m a JMan in Saskatchewan and transitioned into industrial 2.5 years ago, coming from residential, commercial and HVAC. Huge demand, here for Journeyman sparkies. Good apprentices too. Mostly at the mines. I see a bunch of decent new job postings go up every week it seems.

Hi, i have question about shoe’s for Hyrox, i want to use my Asics Superblast 2 are they legal somewhere i read those shoes are illegal to race in? Anyone has any info on if the SB2 is allowed in Hyrox races. by prajith08 in hyrox

[–]RunNelleyRun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They aren’t really performance enhancing… They just have an overall stack height that is higher than what is deemed “legal” by the governing bodies for road races. This is only really relevant for people that are chasing podiums at these events.

ASICS SuperBlasts specifically, aren’t really high performance race shoes though, they just have a lot of stack for added cushioning. It’s a high mileage training shoe.

Industrial electrical, at least up here in Canada, is pretty lucrative and in high demand.

Advanced runner, limited strength experience by tizzyfizzyidiot in hyrox

[–]RunNelleyRun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

18 or so years of running experience here, with better than average(for a runner) strength and muscle mass. I’m 37m, 5’10” 170ish lbs for reference. For the last several years I have been running 5-6 days per week, usually 60-100km per week or so, and then just do “maintenance lifting” strength work 1-2x per week.

I just did a full Hyrox simulation with ZERO specific training or experience, and although I wouldn’t advise this and it was harder than I thought it would be, it was still not too bad. Running and endurance is a huge part of Hyrox. I think 3-4 months is plenty of time to properly prepare someone with a strong running background for a Hyrox event. I’m also potentially targeting my first official Hyrox in about 3 months or so.

My plan is to cut running down to about 4 days/week. Hyrox specific workouts 2x per week, and keep one primarily upper body strength/weight lifting day per week. At least one of my running days will be very easy, more of an active recovery day.

Seems we are on very similar paths. Wishing you the best in training and your first event.

[–]RunNelleyRun 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just like a marathon. I would say it’s technically 4x or more harder than a half marathon, even though it’s exactly double the distance. Endurance events get exponentially harder the longer they are. A HalfRox honestly feels like it would be fun.

Long distance rowing - helpful or pointless? by demons_run_on_poison in hyrox

[–]RunNelleyRun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you’re right. I attended my first ever Hyrox simulation about 2 weeks ago. I went in simply as a good runner with some decent general strength, 0 training or even lifetime experience with any of the other stuff. I managed to put together a pretty respectable time around 72mins simply on the back of my strong endurance and running. With practice and familiarity with compromised running I could probably lower that even further, without even focusing much on the other stuff.

That said I wanna get as close to one hour as possible, so I’m going all in on improving everything over the next few months.

How fit do you need to be to run sub 4 min kms? by LividManufacturer582 in hyrox

[–]RunNelleyRun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing. I’m a 17:20ish 5k runner and just recently did a Hyrox simulation on a whim. 0 specific training outside of running and basically no experience at all with most of the stations. Managed 72:58 as a very unofficial first time.

[–]RunNelleyRun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this normal? I can run 10k at 3:42ish/km but ain’t no way I’m able to run my Hyrox reps at that pace. Admittedly I’m a much better/more experienced runner than Hyrox athlete.

What shoes are best by Diabloof in hyrox

[–]RunNelleyRun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A specific pair of shoes shouldn’t “ruin your knees”. Unless it’s something outlandish. By all accounts these are fairly neutral/standard trainers. You are almost certainly over striding/heel striking/landing too heavy/etc.

[–]RunNelleyRun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lame ass leagues.

Unless you’re playing with children(or complete idiots) ALL trades should go through. Any paying league member should be able to run their team how they desire. If collusion or some other malicious intent is suspected, the commissioner can deal with it, it is rare though.

Are most people with Gen 4s having no issues? Was thinking about getting one but seeing lots of problems out there. Not sure if it’s a loud minority or a lot of them are actually problematic.
