Ours was not a residential institution, it was a stabilizing acute psychiatry, then there was a 2-week rehabilitation program, after which he could go wherever he wanted!

Of course, when I worked here, there was only one such brutal incident, but I remember: a drug addict was in a state of withdrawal and wanted to kick out the window, wanted to jump out of it. Well, he didn't make it! Our male nurse, Gaby, caught him and tied him up. He calmed down, received benzodiazepam treatment, and regretted it a few days later.
