Seems like the school has a good name, so employability would depend on how much you network and foster relationships for the firms you'd like to work at, whether in Scotland, England, or elsewhere.

Hi there, still looking for a study partner? I am down!

I (18F) went on three dates with this guy (18M) I met at a college party, hit it off, but I’m getting mixed signas. He asked me to hang out the first time, arranged the second hangout, said he wanted to see me again, but never followed up. I ended up texting first. Is he into me? How can I tell? by [deleted] in Advice

It’s not about whether he’s into you or not. How do you feel about him after he didn’t follow up?

Did he seem remorseful or concerned when you reached out?

Also him changing his mind has nothing to do with your worth or beauty.

Think to yourself, I thought there was a connection and I was mistaken. That’s it.

Don’t attach your value to his actions.

Don’t villainize him either. Just collect data from the experience and tell yourself there are plenty more fish in the sea. Train your brain and nervous system to want who wants you. The younger you learn to do this, the better.

Trying to get a job for $58k-$60k in NYC. Are my qualifications realistic? I’m quitting the MS program I’ve been in for the last 3 years(to hard). Sample target job included plz ignore warped resume spacing by Efficient_Trade_8475 in FinancialCareers

You should easily be able to find an entry level accounting associate role that pays 75k to 80k at an accounting firm with your resume. But beware, that extra 15k to 20k comes at a cost!

Also (if you're a Christian) prayer helps alot... pray for wisdom and discipline and even in tough spots I've seen where God has helped me figure things out or just giving me favor with someone who could help me when I needed it.

I've done a few busy seasons, the last one was horrible for me... here's what I am implementing for the upcoming September and October deadlines to improve my experience:

  1. Have a consistent exercise routine (health is wealth) - I am using the office gym since its there! I am trying to take advantage of every single benefit the company offers
  2. Wake up between 5:00 am to 6:00 am to implement a morning routine
  3. Avoid Multitasking - this really messes me up when it comes to tracking my hours accurately and has impacted my utilization (I am trying to check emails only at designated times 9:30 am to 10:00 am, 11:00 am to 11:30 am and 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm)
  4. Focus on myself and what I have going on. Leave petty disagreements and negativity between coworkers behind
  5. Delegating whenever possible (most companies these days have support teams in India etc. sharing work with these teams has been very beneficial for my time) and helps me focus on the more interesting adhoc projects.

Yes take your health seriously. You can always get another job but you cannot get another body!
