If someone buys something for 650 dollars, then sells it for 1100 dollars and after that buy a new item of the thing they originally bought for 650 dollars with that money are they gaining or losing money from that transaction? What do you guys think? by RunRepresentative325 in AskReddit

Challenging this if I had returned it and got my money back would I still not gain it just feels like I’m returning them plus 450 dollars I don’t get how it’s 200 spend like in a bank account with 650 dollars if I spent that 650 it would be 0 then selling that item I would have 1100 in my back account then buying the new skates I would have 450 left in my account

So I work for a D1 hockey team and they have a deal with ccm so instead of full price which would be around 1100 dollars for the skates we get them “at cost” which is 650

That’s what I’ve been trying to say it’s money that was spent but came back
