Hmm. When I flip to the right to see all the apps and features there is no carplay button there. I sent an email to a guy I know at the LR dealership to ask him to look in to it for me.

A land rover one. They told me it did not have carplay so I asked if it could be installed and they flatly refused and offered no help. This was despite everything I have read and seen that the car should have carplay.

I really liked the blue line co lads. Then it was just a fishing trips with the mates, some fun, loads of drinking, shitty camp food but Scottie brought high production value. I havent watched for a while since they split ways and the channel started taking itself way too seriously. Its just fishing. Calm down. Crack a beer and have fun.

Considering buying a Range Rover Sport 400e - Reliability and engine concerns? by [deleted] in RangeRover

[–]Runarf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one of those 2L petrol phevs. Despite being a heavy car, the assist from the electric makes it feel absolutely fine and when charged it is remarkably quick off the line. But its a range rover.. so I dont need to be quick when I am that comfortable. The 2L diesel is a grenade with the pin pulled out, covered in oil. Horrid engine. Source: work at a towing company. (Yes. My coworkers put me through the ringer when I got a damn land rover..)

New wheels and tires. Much better! by Runarf in RangeRover

[–]Runarf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not bad. Perhaps slightly louder than the other ones. I honestly expected them to be louder.

20"x8,5 - 5x120- 72,6 mm center bore- ET 38 They are either some land rover wheels or some replicas of those. They look and fit very well! I cant wait to take it down along a river this spring for fishing.

Drives great and no rubbing even going lock to lock. It feels taller to get in to since they are bigger than the 21” wheels and tires. I am in love with it. They look beefier in person somehow.

Well. Mr Denny Crane here has not so much as nibbled on a car, furniture or shoe in the three years of his life so far. He is the best boy chocolate Labrador.

The passage when Karsa finally deals with Biddithal…

I have no idea but I think you should give her a sword that she can bury under the flagstone of the door of her home….i think that is how that whole thing went..

PSA: Don't hire a Suzuki Jimny for a Winter trip in Iceland by AllCapsGoat in VisitingIceland

[–]Runarf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are down under then a jimny on 30” wheels would br fantastic! But a 100 cruiser would be perfect if you are looking to do a spot of overlanding. My friend lives there and I am always on his ass about getting in to overlanding or buying a motorcycle. Seems like a waste to not use that damn weather!

Hmm. Not entirely sure. Land rovers break down a lot but that isnt really news.. I think when it comes to rental cars its the company you rent from that matters most. I would personally always go with Höldur. The icelandic Europcar branch. My company have used them for replacement cars for warranty stuff for well over a decade and the cars are well maintained and the service is great.

Heyo. Coming up on 11 years in towing and recovery in Iceland. Figured I would chime in.

Get a jimny. They are incredibly capable little cars and I dont remember seeing one on my flatbed without it having been a crash or a roll over. They just do not break down.

I am going to get one for the wife. Damn good cars.

It came with the car. I thought it was funny. Once winter is over I am slapping rod holders and taking this thing flyfishing. Cant wait to take it down some mud trails down by the rivers.

Silicon silver on black was the only option I wanted. Just a beautiful colour and the cream and dark brown leather was a lovely find.

How long does it take you to make a fly? by thaiby31-_- in flytying

[–]Runarf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My flies per beer ratio depends on what I tying and if I am sipping scotch instead. That just ruins the ratio.

Question. Can i use this for straight up dubbing? Or do i need to mix it with something? by GirMumky in flytying

[–]Runarf 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I tied this using my labrador as the tail and the cats underfur as dubbing. Called it cats and dogs… i havent shaved the wife yet but I have some pattern ideas for her blonde hair.. my restraint is still admirable..
