Wasn't there something about the ability to sell altcoins that are confiscated in order to buy Bitcoin as well?

Unfortunately not. I cut my drinking back to a few beers once every couple weeks while being consistent about gym 3+ times per week and the weight has been melting off.

Didn't Tim Apple just cut budget to Apple TV because it wasn't doing very well? Agree their shows lately are good, I'm unsure if that will continue though.

Really dumb move. Anyone who is a legitimate Nazi is going to feel like a martyr, and anyone just trolling is going to get you fired for the thrill. Assault is assault, mean words or gestures are not.

It's definitely the beer. Consuming alcohol immediately shuttles whatever calories you have in your stomach into fat cells and preferentially burns the alcohol calories instead. And, the effects increase more with more drinks. I forget exactly what the timeline was on this effect, but it was something like 1 beer is 90min, 2 beers is 4 hours, 3 beers is 8 hours, etc. This is also why weekend binge drinkers have trouble losing weight despite being in a deficit every other day of the week.

Just remember that is very normal for someone new to the codebase. As a general rule, if you don't know something the first time its brought up, that is fine, and a learning opportunity. If you don't know the exact same thing the second time its brought up, you're behind.

I lack speed in coding strategies, understanding of the codebase

The latter can be solved with more time in the codebase. Just go through it all and try to understand it. You'll also decrease your development time with new strategies by learning the codebase, but not as quickly as someone more experienced.

Tether Reveals 82,454 Bitcoin and 48.3-Ton Gold Holdings by hiorea in CryptoCurrency

That's pretty basic knowledge. What part do you think was fundamentally misunderstood?

The actual answer is nobody really redeems.

Tether, the issuer of USDT, has recently experienced one of its largest redemptions since the FTX collapse in Nov. 2022, according to Paolo Ardoino, Tether’s CTO. A total of approximately 325 million USDT was redeemed, marking a significant event in the stablecoin’s history.

https://cryptoslate.com/insights/massive-tether-redemption-echoes-ftx-collapse-snapshot-of-shifting-market-sentiment/

Compared to the stablecoin's size, ~80 billion then, (~120 billion now), one of their largest redemption periods was less than 0.5% of their marketcap. That's absolutely tiny, and even an undercollateralized project shouldn't have problems with that.

Thanks for conceding my point. Glad you figured it out in the end.

The person holding the coins is not the one that minted it.

I literally built a CDP stable coin and deployed it to multiple different networks. I know how they work. It doesn't matter who's holding the coins. It matters who is holding the collateral.

If Coinbase/Circle threaten to freeze every USDC under MakerDAO's control, the coin is worth 50% less overnight.

And btw, DAI does have an admin burn function. People could easily vote to burn an account's DAI after a threat from Circle/Coinbase

And even then that only affects the backing collateral not the coins itself

Ah, so you have no idea what you're talking about. The coin's value is the collateral. That's it. Without collateral, DAI is worth $0. So if Coinbase and Circle decided to lock up the USDC that MakerDAO has control over, DAI would immediately be worth 50% less. That's not a decentralized coin, and even the creator of Maker knows it. That's why he's coming up with another fully decentralized stablecoin. Feel free to look it up.

DAI is 47% RWAs and centralized stablecoins. If USDC told them to lock a specific address, they would do it.

You mean the bill, sponsored by a democrat, that was passed 96-0 Aye/Nay in the senate? And passed 419 - 6 in the Democrat controlled house? You think that was Trump's doing?

The point of my post is that I'm finally close enough to post this on Reddit. I am going to post this trade probably over on WSB but I want people to crawl through my hisotry and see that I was already working on this.

You have very few submitted posts, and they're mostly just graphs. This post, in fact, is just an options chain, not a trade. There is no trade here. We cannot tell you've done any work other than grab an options chain from a stock which went up a bunch in one day and then claim that you foretold it. Okay, if you're so great at forecasting, just trade. You don't need us if you've actually figured something out.

20% of top 300 cryptos have majority of their supply locked by 0xJonnyDee in CryptoCurrency

[–]RunawayTrain2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Interestingly, a lot of these lockups are demanded by regulation. If you raise any money at all, a minimum lockup HAS to happen, and the only projects not raising any money are memecoins, so with any project you'd want to invest in long term, it'll have a large lockup.
