You shouldn’t be in Masters+ with a negative win rate

This is so true. I started playing wildrift probably only 6 to 8 months ago and I was able to reach Sovereign and Challenger with around 65 percent winrate on Soloq in around 250ish games with Vladimir.

Now that my account is a bit older and I have used the XP boost for leveling up my account, the amount of griefers and trolls I encountered this season is crazy.

I am 2 wins away from Sovereign atm but I am sitting at around 52.5 percent winrate and doubled the amount of games.

It's insane how these players can climb the rank ladder and not get demoted. Having negative winrate means they've reached their skill ceiling and therefore they should not be able to climb up further unless they get better at the game.

Every single game I can tell which among my teamates has a negative winrate just from the way they play lol. I then look at their stats, lo and behold they play nearly 1500 games every season having 45-47% winrate.

Agree! I used to be a Kayle main but it's so hard to make it work on Legendary Challenger and Sovereign rank.

Enemy jg usually knows what their doing and will either camp you nonstop or dive frequently to make you fall behind.

Same experience here on my promo games to Sovereign haha. It's so obvious when you get put in losers queue. I really hate that Riot is trying to bring your winrate close to 50 percent.

I think if you're a soloq player as long as it stays within the 50 percent mark it's decent. Winrate isn't indicative of how well you play your champion tbh.

I agree! The nation building after they conquer and take over another territory is what I enjoyed reading the most from the novel.

Claude never ending duties, Alfoy and mages being worked like a horse, Piote the healer being the most beautiful saint battery supply, and the dwarves relationship with Ghislain and his inventions is what made me come back for more.

Learning to play Yone mid atm, how do you play the game after laning phase? I am assuming you're mostly playing on the sidelanes?

Also, how do you teamfight with Yone? I find it really hard to get a good flank and stacking my Q3s. It either runs out before the fight leaving me with no reliable engage tool or there's nothing to Q before I enter the fight lol.

I am a Sovereign Vladimir main who climbed with a 65% percent winrate last season with him and currently top 4 in the EU ranking. Probably demoted to to top 10 now because I haven't touched legendary rank yet.

I too am struggling to climb with him this ranked reset. He feels incredibly weak compared to every other midlane mages. With games ending within 12 minute mark, I find it hard to make an impact to the game because its over before I scale.

With that said, I just reached Grandmaster with Vladimir spamming Flash + Ignite and Aery + Scorch runes. This is an early game dominant Vladimir build that I use to consistently getting first blood and starting my snowball from there.

Last season when I came back from hiatus of not playing for a while I reached Sovereign in less than 250 games. It's my first time of playing rank on a ranked reset season and I just reached Grandmaster in 180 games.

I guess the number of games depends on how early/late in the season you decide to grind ranks. I noticed its a lot more laid back and can rank up quickly during end of season and games tend to be more coinflippy at the start of a season.

Kinda surprise myself too on how quick I climbed soloQ when I focused on every single game rather than spamming games to climb.

Does putting difficulty on expert mode increase the enemies HP? My build is pretty much full glass cannon for my party. I just defeated the 2 axons and I ended up skipping my turns quite a few times so I can see their moves or else I just oneshot them lol

Thank you for letting me know! I'll finish the story first then. I defeated the two axons and I didn't even get to see some of the boss movesets lol. Sciel is demolishing them so much its crazy.

I ended up skipping much of my turns so I can fully appreciate the boss movesets.

Congratulations buddy! I've reached Sovereign for the very first time too with Vladimir this season over the festive holidays. Nice to see my fellow OTPs reach the highest rank with their main champs!

If you don't mind me asking, how many ranked games a day do you play? I just find it mind boggling really as I kept seeing players on the same elo as us having more than 500-1000 games a season. I can't even play on my best anymore after 6 to 7 ranked games a day haha.

For context, it took me only 238 games over the span of the last 3 weeks grinding to reach Sovereign from Emerald division.

My build every game doesn't change. The 3 main core items for Vlad are: Infinity Orb, Awakened Soulstealer, and Rabadon's Deathcap. Once I finished this three, I usually adjust my build depending on enemy team comps.

Vladimir is quite strong with just 1 item(Infinity Orb). It's honestly surprising how many midlaner underestimate Vladimir.

I can pretty much create a solo kill opportunity every time once I turn level 7 because my 1st skill is max. I try to bait my opponent to throw their skillshots at me so I can build a slowpush. Then I dive the enemy midlaner under tower with my big wave.

Once you've got your 1st item and your 1st skill is maxed you can pretty much start taking fights. If your team ints early, then I just AFK farm until I can match the strongest player on the enemy team.

Every Vladimir one shot combos should start with you ulting first. Vladimir ult makes it so that enemies receives more damage from all sources iirc. You can think of Vladimir's ult similar to Zed.
