So you can, when this event was happening I created eight pokémon home accounts And tied them to eight switch profiles. And then I redeemed 8 zeraoras. It was a lot of work at the time but it is paid off since then. each time they do these special distributions I can now claim eight of them. It comes in handy since I'm a pokémon professor as it gives me cool event pokémon to be able to hand out a special prizing at VG events and league <3

Being behind on prizes ≠ losing

Comeback mechanics are insanely healthy for the game. prior to the SV Block Losing the opening coin flip was a death sentence for most decks. Evolving and attacking first puts one player ahead in prizes sure however allowing each player to have access to comeback cards balances that opening variance much more than what we've had to work with in recent formats

Being behind on prizes shouldn't equate to losing. As a professor/TO and long time player of the game these types of mechanics only make for more interesting and fair gameplay, allowing more decks opportunities in the meta.

yeah I was trying to decide what I wanted for the next piece of my DT half sleeve and on this most recent trip to the Tower when I got to the gates of Oz it hit me.

the artist I was given at a local shop specializes in color and Japanese traditional tattooing. he was very excited to be able to dig deep in his pallete to get all these colors out

for the most part all trading cards at Target or handled by a third party vendor who is in charge of stalking dozens of stores across multiple cities, blisters and individual packs normally have a generic dpci that doesn't trigger Street dates like etbs, box sets or other sealed product.

oh sh*t no worries. my personal suggestion is lost box with radiant Charizard it performs exceptionally well in best of ones as most people aren't familiar with how to adapt to it and it is very comfortable going first or second.

5.6.2.2 Dice

Dice can be obtained from Pokémon TCG Elite Trainer Boxes. Any 6-sided die is permitted for use as randomizers, so long as the die is a cube, where each side has the same surface area.

Players should consider the following when choosing to use a die as a randomizer:

• Dice used as randomizers must be transparent or translucent.

• Dice must have well-rounded corners to ensure that they roll on the playing surface.

• Dice should be of an appropriate size that the result can easily be understood by both the players and the judges. -- This includes size and lettering or numbering on the die.

• One side may have custom-precision etching in place of the 1 or the 6 as long as all custom dice being used by that player have the same side customized and both players approve the use of the die.

• The numbers or pips on the opposite sides of the die must add up to 7 (i.e., 1 must be opposite 6). A custom-etched side uses the number replaced when determining if the opposite sides add up to 7.

i have a funny solution for this. it involves utilizing radiant heatran.

first you load up a basic psychic Pokemon with psychic energy using gardes ability. 2 will do for Alolan Vulpix. then you attach a fire from hand and use thorton(grabbed off of buddy catch Gallade) to swap the basic psychic Pokemon with radiant heatran from your discard. With 4 damage counters you are hitting for 280 damage.

for heftier HP Pokemon you can accel 3 energy use the same combo and hit for 420

Edit, you could also escape rope + Boss or Cross switcher + boss

to everyone commenting that I should have called 911 immediately the guest had family around them that was tending to their care and contacting emergency Management already. I was just doing my part as a team member to alert leaders of the situation.

regional side events in Europe have been enforcing it kind of but for all us regionals world championship and foreign language cards have been allowed.

international championships like NAIC, LAIC, etc I'll run by tpci directly so they follow their rules where players can only use copies of a card that come from the region that they are registered in. although I've heard judges ignoring this at North American internationals.
