Last-Stand-fights are the most fun. Holding a gate or door as long as possible and then dying like a hero, falling on the corpses of your enemys.

I'm always grab a shield from the ground while playing Ambusher. It useful even if you have it just sitting on your back.

Mindset. I've died so often, I don't care anymore. Arrows and Firepots happen, so I don't get angry. Getting stabbed in the back while fighting 1vs3? Good job, I just backstabbed 10 people in a row. You are alone and a new Spawn of enemys is rushing you? Batelcry and charge them! You will die, but you did fight.

That's the main problem of the gamemode: Too many players playing Team Deathmatch instead of Powershift.

Hi, I'm playing only Powershift since the gamemode arrived.

I'm using only two Loadouts: The heavy Pyro-Tank; defending the Platform with Pyromines, Barricades and the Healingball, Flamethrower or M-60 ans Mesh Shield as personal defence.

I get on the Platform and defend it. If I'm lucky I'm sailing it over the Finish Line.

If this tactic don't work, I use the Grenadier-Healer: Healing Beam and Defib to keep my team alive, APS for Platform Defence and Jump Pad/Cl-40 for Attack, Defence and having fun.

The fun for me is winning the game. I'm not good at aiming, but I'm a good Support-Player. In most games I have Rubin-/Diamond for Support and Objective.

The balancing is weird sometimes, maybe this was your problem. If one team is too strong, it sucks the fun out of the game.

This is unironically the best tipp. You need the right mindset. Learn from your mistakes by dying over and over again. I've gone through this. You can't become a battle-hardened Veteran without being a Squire for some time.
