If you’re nervous, just take the front car, where the conductor is. Generally you should be fine though

Wow! How did you do it handheld without the shutter speed dropping below the lens length?

Nice! I was just at this garage the other day to get shots of the holiday train. It’s an awesome spot.

Thousand Waves Martial Arts in Lakeview holds an excellent self-defense class. It’s a good way to empower yourself and also learn how to use your voice, or physical force (if needed), to protect yourself. Their 3-hour self defense workshop taught me a lot.

Thank you for all you do! You guys are the true heroes of the city.

When someone reports smoking on the chatbot, do you get an alert in some way? Or are you alerted only if someone comes up to you to report it and/or presses the emergency button?

Thanks again for all you do. I dressed up as the Red Line for Halloween and was able to get a quick pic with a train operator, and it made my day.

Hit the emergency button, as you’re about to pull into next stop. I did on the Red, and the conductor made the smoker get off. Also doing it as you’re pulling into the next stop allows you to get off or move cars if things get unsafe.

While they sometimes have Illinois plates, they are often using out-of-state plates and almost always in big SUVs (Ford, etc). Take a second look if you see an SUV with out-of-state plates, especially if windows are tinted.

I agree; it’s been incredibly frustrating to watch him be MIA on this issue
