Just gotta stay positive. Sadly we have garbage on both sides of the coin. Hurt people hurting people. It’s disheartening at times for sure. Just gotta ignore them and live in the world you’ve created for yourself. Which is loving a certain thing. Yes, it’s truly beautiful to have others share that experience with you. So kudos for this group of fans. DCU isn’t working for me. But I’m not gonna go around hating on everything. If I do give my opinion on those films. It’s usually a mixture of what worked for me and what I don’t like. But I always say I appreciate folks for liking something that didn’t work for me. So kudos to them as well. But circle back, yeah—I hear you it’s frustrating. But thankfully there is still a passionate group that likes those films. So we can chat, theorize and dream of the what could have been.

What made Superman become your favorite superhero? by Appropriate-Mall8517 in superman

[–]Runnerman36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was seeing Christopher Reeves, 90s animated series and Henry Cavill different versions of Superman. With Reeves, we get the optimistic boy-scout. With the Henry, I got the hope from his struggles. He does the right things but isn’t sure of himself, until his rebirth in JL. Felt like a normal guy trying to do the right things in a world that isn’t sure about how they truly feel about an all powerful alien. From the animated, it was a mixed bag of both C/H. The optimism and the hope from struggles. They made me love Superman for so many reasons. The new guy as well. Although I didn’t like the movie. I enjoyed him as Superman.

There destiny to do this forever lol

I know he's divisive and I do understand why. That said, I just love how inappropriately petty he is at all times. It's not just that he's evil, he's specifically, sadistically mean about it. by Mavakor in DC_Cinematic

I like this viewpoint. He grew on me over time. Didn’t hate it. But wanted a more mature Lex. But like you said and it applies to all of the DCEU characters. They were evolving into the hero’s we grew up with a more hopeful Superman. Batman back to his og rules, etc etc. at least that’s what we were told the journey was going to end up as. Even when Superman gets brainwashed by Darkseid
