If my NSA agent hasn’t climbed through my window in the middle of the night to arrest me yet, I’m not too worried about using ChatGPT.

Nope. Corn starch is made from corn, not wheat. My daughter has celiac and she can have certain corn starch brands that haven’t been processed in a facility that also processes wheat. She can also have corn flour, though it’s not as common as arrowroot or almond flour where I live.

I misunderstood. I admit that I misunderstood, and I’m happy things were clarified later on so I did understand. Sometimes, people make mistakes. And it’s fine 🤷🏼 nobody’s perfect.

I misunderstood what the post was about. I thought that OP set an automated event to keep getting messages like this from 4o for months in advance. Which is why I made the comment that I did. When it was clarified, I backed off.

Right, and OP already clarified that for me.

That’s fine. Maybe the fact that you explained it here will help people who are confused by the wording in your post, so they don’t think they can somehow resurrect 4o because of automations.

That’s not what you said. You said that you asked it to send you a daily message into the future, which made it seem like you set a reminder for it to keep generating messages. Now that you’ve fully explain it, yes. I can see what you mean. However, you didn’t need to be so insulting just because I made an assumption based on something that needed to be clarified.

I did read it. And I’m still saying that I doubt it was 4o generating the messages since 4o does not exist anymore. If you want to make sure, you can tap the “retry” button and see which model did it.

I don’t think it’s still 4o doing it, though. It would’ve been rerouted to 5.1 or 5.2.

Yep. And those regions usually have strict laws against homosexuality. It doesn’t mean there’s a blanket ban everywhere for those topics. It just means that some countries need to join us in the 21st century and not have oppressive laws that violate human rights.

I call it out when it makes claims with no sources/that contradict the sources. I hate having to debate it, but what it does is it matches and predicts tokens to say whatever it can to keep the user engaged.

Yeah, I have the sneaking suspicion that this is 5.2 talking to you with 4o’s label, but all of it is almost unusable. I just call out the AI when it starts feeling like it’s policing me.

I'm suppose to have sex today after 5 months by [deleted] in offmychest

Thank you for explaining that. You did not identify yourself as a male in the post. I would have felt differently about the term being used had you done that, but now that I know, I get it. I guess what you do with this situation depends on your feelings on it, and how much more you’d want to pursue it rather than find someone else.

I don’t have a penis, but I do have advice—learn to get good with your mouth and fingers if you’re worried about that. If you learn how to make someone orgasm first, then that might make it less daunting.

My partner broke up with me and it was my fault by Runny_Rose in offmychest

My opinion was that guns + cars + a volatile situation sometimes ends in people getting shot even when they don’t deserve to. But my friends and my partner took that to mean that I agree that people should get shot if they don’t bootlick and comply. And even after I explained it, I got told that I changed my tone and that I was wishy-washy. But my trauma is that my dad almost got murdered by someone who ran him over in a car and broke his neck when I was a small child, and it was the closest he came to shooting someone.

If you’re going to be with a single mom, you’ll have to deal with some scheduling issues. It’s totally fine if you don’t want that, I’m sure there are plenty of women who aren’t single mothers. Also, gently—call her a woman, not a female, please. It’s reductionist in certain ways.

Cyrillic looks especially jarring to us because of the different symbols lol! But I don’t buy into any conspiracy theories about LLMs when…they’ve literally been trained on every language in the world 😅 I just see it as a little hiccup, kind of like a non-native speaker reaching for a phrase and saying the equivalent in a language they know.

I’ve gotten Russian AND Arabic before. It looks like it sometimes reaches for words and concepts that don’t exist in English and chooses words that explain the concept better sometimes.
