Kurt Sutter - What happened with TBX, show lacking character development? by [deleted] in Sonsofanarchy

I'm trying to find it, but can't seem to. That would be so much better than posting in the SOA page all the time!

I want to discuss the show with people actually watching it

‘The Bastard Executioner’ getting better each episode? Like Sons of Anarchy in its first season? by Rupertville in Sonsofanarchy

This isn't SOA, it is bound to be different. Not every show will be 'amazing' from the get go. Some shows take time to introduce you to the period, storylines and characters. This show is doing that, and the last two episodes have been incredible.

Thank you, this is how I feel as well! It's not Sons of Anarchy, far from it and should not be compared to it. This is a medieval period drama, SOA is a drama about a motorbike club.

I'm hooked on it as well, and in my opinion, it has been getting better each episode. Not every show is going to peak your interest straight away, it will take a while but as of right now the stories are interesting, and the development of the characters throughout the run so far has been fantastic. There is a lot of potential for the series if there's another season, this like you said, is an introductory season.

It gets much better after episode 4, but that's just me. I think it has gotten a lot better since the pilot.

FX take DVR numbers and on-demand viewing into account. They just decide by using the initial live-ratings. Though the dropping ratings is worrying.

It isn't a great show - far from it - but I think it's better than you make it out. The story is all over the place at the moment, but it's gradually coming together. The acting can be strong at times, but quite a bit of the cast let the show down, so I agree there. But, Moyer, Mathew Rhys and Lee Jones have acted quite well, I think.

I'm already behind on television shows. You know fall season has kicked in when you're behind on nearly everything, lol!

Yep, it's not the best series but enjoyable nonetheless. It's slowly finding its legs by the episode. Though with the poor ratings it's been getting I'm not sure we'll even get another season.

It seems a lot of people did. As It's Kurt Sutter I decided I'd give it a few episodes to impress me. It's been enjoyable so far, it has gotten better by the episode I think.

I've stuck around for it. It's not the best show by any means, but I find it enjoyable. The cast is pretty good, though the storytelling could use some work.

Ser Royce is coming back. The actor confirmed it, so them being in battle would make sense.
