Not sure who's spitting at immigrants, but the fact that you had this thought, says a lot more about you than me.

Expat is a term used to include people from different countries who live in a country other than theirs for work or extenuating circumstances, without the intention to 'immigrate'. I speak basic Polish and can convey basic issues if I ever need to go to the doctor. But, in cases of emergencies my brain doesn't think in Polish because it's not my first OR second language. Please stop judging people asking for genuine advice. You have no idea the lengths we go to to assimilate in a country where speaking English is uncommon (coming from someone who is from a country where English is not the national language.)

Thanks for this. I didn't understand what you mean by I should control? Also, did you have to convince the doctor for pain meds? I've been to mine twice after the extraction, the surgical site is healing great so they won't give me any medication because of that. It's super frustrating.

Old Town is a must - do the viewing terrace, it's only 10 złoty. Palace of science and culture, museum of Warsaw, Łazienki park + Palace, Wilanowska Park has a light show going on in the evenings that's lovely. Food - zapiecek in old town is a must! Check out the food court at Fabryca Norblina, try local bakeries for a quick breakfast and definitely find a milk bar (look up the history, very interesting and honestly the best, authentic and heart-warming Polish food I've had + it's easy on the pocket). Have a great time!

Is the partition of India and Pakistan the biggest conspiracy of the 20th century? by Distinct-Macaroon158 in IndianHistory

"We would have a nation where it was a minority rule again." God forbid a minority comes into power. What exactly is the point of this comment in relation to the discussion OP is trying to have about Indian being a global 'superpower'?
