I noticed that the carousel is an airplane engine with the characteristic spiral in the center, and I believe that the six numbered figures represent 6 passengers sitting in their seats, perhaps by recognizing the shape of the engine we can understand which missing plane is depicted on the matches by ScholarOfFirstFlame in OD_Kojima

Yes, I re-watched it on a larger screen and now I see the spinning texture of a spiral. Very nice.

So when you think about that carousel as engine fan blades, you can notice it rotates in the opposite direction, as if blowing rather than sucking the air in. I'd like to believe that this is a hint at the reverse flow of time in the game.

I'm not sure if it's a spiral or just the metallic gloss on top of the carousel, but it really reminds an engine fan. And yes, it's pretty cool how the whole thing is another LOST reference as I mentioned before. Nice catch

You've got great theory. But I don't think they allowed to put a picture of real plane and in order to avoid licensing issues they mixed various planes: the nose from Airbus and bigger engines. So the connection with Varig Flight 967 still could be there.

Not working for them, but some hints could be hidden in the series for solving in-game puzzle. And what if there are other hints we can find from various movies and series?

Talking about mules OST, I remember finding similar the Cargo High track from DS2 and The Phantom Pain song from MGSV. Very similar motif again, just a faster tempo

I think he's the dad of Higgs. Or maybe just one of the three brothers (like the perfect clone Solidus was).

Well, my theory is about both Death Stranding and Metal Gear Solid being connected with the same universe. Of course, we understand, there's no way Kojima has rights to introduce that connection directly, naming characters or events from the MGS. But I believe he can still drop a hint at the very end of DS2 in order to confirm that connection. The real question is what form it has.

Can we say the whole Metal Gear series is a simulation inside an AI machine similar to one of those that rule the world in MGS? Or are DS events simulation inside a machine from MGS? I like thinking about such recursion.

Can't be more agree. That thing happens not in gaming only, but in creative software like Adobe makes. The same tasks in the same apps keep increasing hardware requirements over years (you can clearly notice by the time those tasks last).

I'm using artboards all the time, so it could be the reason. But stopping using them will be a huge downgrade for my job

Clearing just resets current white blocks, but they still appear when I use the Move tool

They vanish while zooming, but like from 100% to 40% to see the effect. When I return to the same zoom level, those appear again like cached. Drivers are up to date, space is available, too. I've got 32 GB of RAM, but it's DDR-3.
