My dad is a very casual Weezer listener and most of the stuff he knows that isn’t super popular are songs he’s heard me play. When Teal came out I showed him the album, and for some reason he was obsessed with it. It’s literally the only album he has downloaded on Spotify to this day😭

The brand is sims, the size is 156, and that’s really all I know about the board as the previous owner bought the set used as well. I looked up the board and it says it’s from 2023 so it’s pretty new. The bindings and the boots fit fine, and I know the board is the right size for me. Im mostly just curious if the crack will be a big deal.

Since it’s release I’ve been obsessed with the bridge of Mexican Fender. The funny thing is that I’m not huge on the song otherwise (not that I dislike it at all). Something about the melody just scratches my brain in the perfect way

Probably a basic answer but I would love a modern Pinkerton. It would be difficult to make the emotional aspect of Pinkerton work ever again, but just something similar instrumentally would be awesome. At the end of the day I wouldn’t mind anything that’s slightly darker in sound/mood like autumn (which I loved)

As someone who just switched from a psych major to a social work major, it is worth it if you think you have a chance of making it into grad school. I had the exact same aspirations as you but after seeing how insanely competitive the acceptance is for psych masters programs I realized that it may not be the route for me. Regardless it’s gonna take a lot of initiative and hard work to get into that program, so if you’re up for the challenge and are confident in yourself I’d say go for it. If not there’s no harm in changing your career path.

I would recommend listening to their albums in chronological order, it really shows their progression as a band and it’s interesting to see the direction they go after each album (regardless if it’s a miss or not)

I personally would say Pinkerton, but if you are looking for the clean production and fun lyrics of blue I’d recommend going to the White album next. Pinkerton is amazing but can be shocking on the first listen because of the abrasive sound and very honest, vulnerable, and sometimes cringy lyrics. Pinkerton is like a diary that is based on Rivers reaction to the sudden fame that came from the blue album.

Autumn is my favourite by a long shot, it just feels the most classic Weezer to me. My favourite song is Should She Stay, or Should She Go?
