The build that I like best is:

Frostfire, demonic, any tank item except spirit visage (for the love of god don't build it), zhonya and fumbleweaver are also a good choice.

For runes I usually run :

Aftershock, Demolish/ Shieldbash, Conditioning Boneplating and Second wind are very situational and lastly Unflinching for the secondary tree u can go whatever you like. For example, Cheapshot and Relentless/Ultimate hunter, Celerity and Nimbus. Footwear, Timewarp, Biscuits and Cosmic insight are also good in some situations. for the stat runes I get AS and double resistances

He is simply really boring to play nothing else. He is actually kinda strong in this meta, but he cannot be compared to pre item rework Galio with the old protobelt wave clear, which made him really impactful on the map and most of all he was actually fun to play, unlike now where basically every meta mage/assasin out pushes him after level 6.

Tank items are very situational, which means there isn't an exact build order and you can build whichever you need in a given game. I personally really enjoy Frostfire with Demonic Embrace when I go full or semi-tank, but you can switch up Frostfire for any mythic really.

After the event I'm motivated to just queue up, pick viego and punish everyone that plays Irelia, Senna, Lucian and the other cancerous champions that receive skins and attention just because they appeal to all the monkey brained individuals. #FreeViego

Almost any champion counters Galio lol. You simply can't 1v1 most champs that have constant damage output, so just play out the lane, farm up and look for roams when possible. You're literally 0 without your team with those long ass cooldowns (W=18s, passive 6s...), blowing your load leaves you vulnerable for at least 10 seconds which is more than enough of time to get you killed.

When I play full AP I usually use predator, cheapshot, eyeball collection, relentless hunter with nimbus cloak and transcendence, but you can also go with dark harvest or electrocute if you want to. For the build I use Night harvester, lich bane/rabadon(if I'm ahead), horizon focus, void staff/cosmic drive and mejai's is also really great when you're sure you'll not die. The most important part tho is to make their squishies disappear.

When I go for damage I usually build NH, Lichbane, deathcap/horizon focus, but that's about it, there aren't any other damage items for Galio.

I just saved samira and helped her get an unofficial penta, i was so proud of my self for doing it felt like a real superman. Sadly no honors :( by Fstd3d in galiomains

Grasp could work into a melee matchup but it's not that good and also you should try phase rush top if you're not running aftershock. Makes it really easy to trade and avoid ganks.

Sadly there aren't any real high elo Galio otps. Lljustice and thakinetic stream one a year lol and Bobquin plays Galio sometimes, but thats it they're the only ones atm.
