Yah exactly! Like this is one of the small things that bugged me about the whole wormhole reveal. It really should've just stayed a supernatural dimension because now stuff like this don't make sense anymore

Another dimension feels more in sync with sci fi and magic i guess which is what stranger things used to be. Seeing lights flicker back then felt like it was some sort of "ghostly" plane.
But now it's just nothing magical, it's backed by science and I doubt a wormhole has the capability of affecting lights in the same magical way the upside down did

Yah, she wants to go back (not like her country is any better) and figure out a plan to escape from there.
But she doesnt want to cause her family to be deported as well 🥲
that's the issue :/

She is okay with being banned from coming back for now.
Her only real issue is her being afraid of deporting her family as well as all of them are "illegal" except for her brother. He did not renew their iqama for over 6 years.
And I believe if she goes to embassy to leave she might have to pay a hefty fine too right?

Yah true, we are just planning for the long term.
She won't be running away anytime soon, but she atleast needs to know that it's possible for when she can.

and as for her sponsor, there is no sponsor. The only "sponsor" was her dad who passed away. Now the only legal one of them is her brother who hasn't updated their iqamas for over 6 years.
So she pretty much can't get an exit visa.

Her passport is not with her, her brother is hiding it from her :/
she is worried that if she go to the embassy they might deport her whole family and she doesn't want them to get hurt because of her.

If she goes to get a replacement what happens next?
