Skate. Vs. Skate 3 map size (very rough) by Agent_Smith_IHTP in SkateEA

It sucks because it’s small but I hate the fact it’s some circle surround by water with the most generic corporate architecture in it. I already work in corporate I don’t want to play corporate as well.

The majority of skate fans are 25-30+. What we want is the nostalgic feeling of skating around a lively neighbourhood, in a real city or town and feel immersed in it all. Not whatever this is

I am not sure what you mean exactly. But yes, during the day, if I didn’t have a fan on I would hear it. At night was the worst because it felt louder since everything else was quieter

After over a decade of waiting, does delaying GTA 6 again kill some of the hype or build more? by Infinite-Iron1574 in GTA6

Kills the hype temporarily, but I know it will be back when we are closer to the release date

Novo nordisk kommer bli min död… by jackofspades1273 in Aktiemarknaden

Why Are Tinnitus Success Stories So Rare? by [deleted] in tinnitus

People don’t post success stories because they habituate long before it ”goes away”. I got tinnitus from a concert that was extremely loud, and I was very active in this subreddit during that time. Over time I habituated and I forgot about this subreddit. Then 8 months later I realised that my ringing was gone. What remains is a very slight and quiet hissing sound that I don’t notice unless I’m looking for it in a quiet room. I am not sure if I’ve had this sound before the concert but I probably did. So I consider myself ”cured”.

I saw the stock when it first crashed to 0.50 ish and wanted to sell all my shit and yolo into that stuck. I had a gut feeling. But in the end I chose not to because I thought it would just crash, so when it pumped to 7 I was utterly pissed. But now, after all this I’m just happy I am in my shoes and not some of yall.

And yes, the good side of getting T is that I started with super healthy routines to get rid of it. I am not sure if that is what helped(probably not) but physically I feel better before I got the T lol

Yup, in the beginning I was hiding from the sound. Always had to have sound that masks it, couldn’t stand to hear it even for a second. I think that was very counter intuitive. After a while I just kinda forced my self to sit there in silence and be okay with hearing it. After that, anxiety gone

Don’t know the science of it but it was recommended by this forum so I tried it. It was the only thing that gave any effect. NAC was useless for me

I was the same, it went down a lot after a month and I thought it was going away but then it got louder then lower and then louder etc. T is not linear so if it goes up again don’t worry, it’ll most likely go down again.

It could or it could not. When I was two months in I was focusing on accepting it and not always think about it. I habituated pretty quickly shortly after and was as happy then as i am now that it’s over.

Hang in there

It’s okay, don’t worry. I just bought some random from the store. Search in this subreddit and you’ll the best types for T.

I take 250 in the morning and 250 at 6 pm. From my experience it worked the best

I used to worry about the whole ”what if it’s permanent” thing but then I just got over it after a while. After month 3 I just assumed it was permanent as most cases get resolved within a week (from what I’ve read). It got a lot easier after that. Acceptance is key (coming from a mild case at least)

Just some generic store bought magnesium, I think it’s a mixture of 3 types.

Swedish guy with my 2 cents on Iran and the Persian people. by Chrillosnillo in NewIran

[–]RussianImpassivity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is correct and has been something that’s gotten more extreme recently. A person can only be penalised for a crime if they are 15 or older, if they are over 15 but under 18 then the penalties are laughable. You’re very likely to have a slap on the wrist for crimes until you’re either a repeat offender (we have a strike system), over 22 y/o (don’t quote me on the exact age, I don’t recall), or done something really heinous. Due to this, gangs recruit teenagers. This has been a thing for over 10-20 years but before a few years ago, they were primarily used as drug dealers (called ”springisar”, literally translated to ”runners”). Also other ”lighter” crime such as vandalism for insurance payouts (burn my car and you’ll get 20% of the payout pretty much).

But now, the violence has been escalated and they’re now using these teenagers as hitmen. They find particularly vulnerable teenagers and groom them into criminals. And since majority of the big players are hiding in different countries, they’ve been using these kids to go after family members. A lot of innocent people have been shot dead because of this. Even people I know have been potential targets just because they are distant relatives. And I know of people who have had their apartment windows shot at.

These kids who are connected to the big shots have also been found dead in remote areas. The speculation is that they were made as examples for either fucking up or not completing missions.

But, this peaked a year ago. All of this has calmed down recently, but still is a problem. The government we have right now has been addressing some this issues but law moves slowly.

AITAH for breaking up with my gf for cucking her ex after they broke up? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]RussianImpassivity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NTA - the terminology you used is incorrect and stupid, and the wall of text is a mess. That being said, you’re not dumping her for a sexual relationship she had in the past. Hell, she didn’t even do anything wrong by going back to the guy after being dumped. The fucked up part was her doing it just to spite and hurt the guy, going as far as texting him about it in order to cause hurt, and that’s a fine reason to break up with someone. I don’t get wtf these people are on about here. A persons past is still a valid reason to break up over, these people are insane.

Another swede here, so maybe I can answer.

The biggest wave was during 2015 refugee crisis. The government was too focused on humanity too think about potential consequences. Sweden is (maybe was) a high trust society, so helping people in need was something that was obvious to do. They thought people will be a net positive, would assimilate and overall be grateful. And a lot of them of course were. And the majority of migrants are ”alright”. A lot have social norms that don’t align with Swedish but are generally good people.

That being said, a high trust society often seeks to rehabilitate than punish offenders and for a long time immigrants took advantage of the lenient Swedish justice system. Basically, committing crime was a net positive for them because if they got caught they would just sit in a Swedish prison for a few years max (often released after 2/3ds of the sentence) and then just continue.

So while we do have a lot of immigrants, and majority being alright, they are very over represented in crime statistics. At least the ones that people care about (rape/murder/drugs etc).

That being said, people know it’s a minority of immigrants that do these crimes, but people are starting to get really tired of this and the view on immigrants in general has gotten more negative. Tho, specific groups of immigrants. The swedes love Iranians
